Note: All performance measurements are in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standards. Tests are performed using the included battery under controlled indoor conditions (25°C, windless). Runtime in Turbo and High modes may vary based on external temperature and ventilation.

Battery and Charging

Supported Battery

The light is equipped with a customized 21700 rechargeable battery. Other brands' 21700 batteries with a built-in protection board can be used in emergencies, but charging within the flashlight is not supported. These may cause the light to turn off due to other brands' low battery protection current.

Low Battery Warning: The light will vibrate once every 30 seconds when the battery power is less than 10%, except for the moonlight mode.

Before First Use

Remove the protective film from the lens and the yellow insulating film from inside the body by unscrewing it.

Charging Instructions

1. Connect the magnetic USB end of the charging cable to an external USB power source (e.g., USB adapter, power bank).
2. Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable to the charging port on the flashlight.
3. The indicator light will be RED while charging and turn GREEN when fully charged (over 95%) or disconnected.
4. It takes approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge the light.
5. Please fully charge the product before the first use.

Accessories and Usage

Lanyard Attachment

Use the included pin tool to thread the lanyard through the flashlight's lanyard hole.

Headlamp Conversion

1. Remove the pocket clip.
2. Place the flashlight into the silicone bracket of the headband, tail first.
3. Adjust the flashlight to the desired position.

Proximity Protection Function

When the proximity sensor detects an obstruction nearby, the brightness will automatically reduce. If the obstruction continues for more than 60 seconds, the light will shut down. The sensor is sensitive to occlusion and its sensing distance may vary based on the color and material of the obstruction.

Attention:

• Keep the lens surface clean. Stains or water mist can affect the performance of the built-in sensor located in the black area, potentially causing high and above modes to fail. Clean promptly.
• Protect the lens from scratches. Scratches can reduce luminous flux and, in severe cases, affect the internal sensor performance, leading to failure of high and above modes.

Safety Information

DANGER

• DO NOT throw the light directly into human eyes. This may cause temporary blindness or permanent eye damage.
• The battery can only be charged while installed in the flashlight. Use only the provided charger.

WARNING

• Keep out of reach of children.
• If the light is to be stored or transported for a long time, unscrew the body for half a circle to disconnect the circuit.
• DO NOT use the turbo mode continuously when the environmental temperature is high, as the light body may become too hot to hold.
• Ensure the battery is inserted with the negative (-) end pointing towards the head of the light (LED side).
• Handle batteries with care. If a battery needs replacement, keep the removed battery in a safe place and DO NOT mix it with conductive metals.

NOTICE

• Moonlight and Turbo modes are not standard brightness levels (Low, Medium, High). Under Moonlight and Turbo modes, press and hold the switch to enter the normal brightness level cycle.
• When the light is turned on, it will return to the last used setting. Only Moonlight, Low, Medium, and High modes can be memorized when the light is turned off. If the light is turned off in Turbo mode, it will memorize High mode and revert to Medium after 10 minutes. SOS mode cannot be memorized.
• When battery capacity is less than 60%, the internal MCU will automatically shield the Turbo mode and reset High mode to the highest brightness level.
• Active thermal management: On Turbo mode, overheating is avoided by adjusting power output.

How to Operate

ON/OFF

When the light is not locked out, single-click the side switch to turn it on or off.

Change Brightness Level

When the light is on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through the modes: Moonlight (or Turbo, SOS) → Low → Medium → High → Low. The mode is selected when the switch is released.

Moonlight Mode

When the light is off or in standby mode, press and hold the switch for over one second to access Moonlight mode.

Direct Access to Turbo Mode

Quickly double-click the side switch to enter Turbo mode. Quickly double-click again to exit Turbo mode.

• If the last memorized mode was High, exiting Turbo will switch to Medium mode.
• If the last memorized mode was Medium, Low, or Moonlight, exiting Turbo will switch to the previously memorized mode.

SOS Mode

Quickly triple-click the side switch to access SOS mode.

Timer Function

The Perun 2 has a long (9 minutes) and short (3 minutes) timer for automatic shut-off.

1. When the flashlight is on, double-click and hold the side switch at the current brightness level to access timer settings.
2. A single blink indicates the short timer (3 minutes) is selected.
3. Two blinks indicate the long timer (9 minutes) is selected.
4. The flashlight will automatically turn off when the timer expires.
5. To change timer settings after setting, double-click and hold the side switch again.
6. If the timer expires and the user re-enters timer settings, the light will revert to the last used timer setting.

Lockout Mode

When the light is off, press and hold the side switch for two seconds to activate the button lockout mode. The light will briefly enter Moonlight mode and then turn off to signal lockout activation.

In lockout mode, pressing and holding the switch for less than two seconds will temporarily activate Moonlight mode without unlocking. Releasing the switch will return to lockout mode.

Button Unlock

Press and hold the side switch for about two seconds until the light gives a single blink, then release the switch. The light will unlock and return to Moonlight mode. From there, you can press and hold the switch again to cycle through standard modes.

• Battery Warranty: Olight offers a one-year warranty for all rechargeable batteries. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegration, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an authorized retailer or Olight itself.
