Product Overview

The Perun 2 features a TIR Optic Lens for focused beam, a Magnetic Tail Switch for versatile operation, a Built-in Sensor for proximity protection, a Pocket Clip for attachment, and a Lanyard Hole.

Before First Use

Remove the protective film from the lens. Unscrew the body and remove the yellow insulating film from the battery compartment.

Charging

The flashlight uses a USB Magnetic Charging Cable (MCC3). Connect the magnetic end to the flashlight's charging port and the USB end to a power source. The charging indicator light shows:

• Red: Charging
• Green: Charging Completed (over 95%) or disconnected

Full charge takes approximately 3.5 hours. Ensure the product is fully charged before first use. Only use the standard Olight USB magnetic charging cable.

Lanyard Attachment

Insert the pin tool through the lanyard hole on the flashlight, then attach the lanyard to the hole.

How to Turn it into a Headlamp

1. Remove the pocket clip.
2. Place the flashlight into the silicone bracket, starting with the tail end.
3. Adjust the flashlight to the desired position.

Proximity Protection Function

The built-in sensor detects nearby obstructions and automatically reduces brightness. If an obstruction persists for over 60 seconds, the light will shut down. The sensor's sensitivity varies with object color and material.

Attention

1. Keep the lens surface clean. Stains or water mist can affect the built-in sensor's performance, potentially causing high and above modes to fail. Clean promptly.

2. Protect the lens from scratches. Scratches reduce luminous flux and can impair internal sensor performance, affecting high and above modes.

How to Operate

ON/OFF

When the light is not locked out, a single click of the switch turns the light on or off.

Change Brightness Level

With the light on, press and hold the side switch to cycle through brightness modes: Moonlight (or Turbo, SOS) -> Low -> Medium -> High -> Low. Release the switch to select the desired mode.

Moonlight Mode

When the light is off or in standby, press and hold the switch for over one second to access Moonlight mode.

Direct Access to Turbo

Quickly double-click the side switch to enter Turbo mode. Double-click again to exit Turbo mode. If the last memorized mode was High, exiting Turbo will switch to Medium mode. If the last memorized mode was Medium, Low, or Moonlight, exiting Turbo will return to the previously memorized mode.

SOS Mode

Quickly triple-click the side switch to access SOS mode.

Timer

The Perun 2 has a long (9 minutes) and short (3 minutes) timer for automatic shut-off. With the flashlight on, double-click and hold the side switch at the current brightness level to access timer settings. A single blink indicates the short timer; two blinks indicate the long timer. The flashlight will turn off automatically when the timer expires. After setting the timer, double-click and hold the side switch to change timer settings. If the timer expires and the user re-enters timer settings, the light will revert to the last timer setting.

Lockout Mode

When the light is off, press and hold the side switch for two seconds to activate lockout mode. The light will briefly enter Moonlight mode before shutting off to signal lockout. In lockout mode, pressing and holding the switch for less than two seconds will temporarily activate Moonlight mode; releasing the switch will return the light to lockout mode.

Button Unlock

Press and hold the side switch for approximately two seconds until the light blinks once, then release the switch. The light will unlock and return to Moonlight mode. You can then press and hold the switch again to cycle through standard modes.

Supported Battery

The light uses a customized 21700 rechargeable battery. Other brands' 21700 batteries with built-in protection boards can be used in emergencies, but charging may not be supported, and they might turn off due to low battery protection current. Low Battery Warning: The light will vibrate every 30 seconds (except in Moonlight mode) when battery power is below 10%.

Performance Measurements

All performance measurements are in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL1-2009 standards, tested with the included battery at 25°C in windless conditions. Runtime for Turbo and High modes may vary with external temperature and ventilation.

Safety Precautions

DANGER

• DO NOT throw the light directly into human eyes. This may cause temporary blindness or permanent eye damage.
• The battery can only be charged while installed in the flashlight. Use the provided charger.

WARNING

• Keep out of reach of children.
• If storing or transporting the light for a long time, unscrew the body by half a circle to disconnect the circuit.
• DO NOT use Turbo mode continuously in high environmental temperatures to avoid overheating the light body.
• Ensure the battery is inserted with the negative (-) end pointing towards the LED side.
• Handle batteries with care. If replacing a battery, keep the removed battery in a safe place and do not mix it with conductive metals.

NOTICE

• Moonlight and Turbo modes are not standard brightness levels. Press and hold the switch in these modes to cycle through normal brightness levels (Low, Medium, High).
• When the light is turned on, it returns to the last used setting. Only Moonlight, Low, Medium, and High modes are memorized when the light is turned off. If turned off in Turbo mode, it memorizes High and reverts to Medium after 10 minutes. SOS mode is not memorized.
• When battery capacity is below 60%, Turbo mode is automatically disabled, and High mode resets to the highest brightness level.
• Active thermal management adjusts power output in Turbo mode to prevent overheating.

Battery Warranty: Olight offers a one-year warranty for all rechargeable batteries.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegration, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repair by anyone other than an Authorized retailer or Olight itself.
