Warnings and Precautions
WARNING!
Certain functions are disabled unless the parking brake is engaged. The unit is designed to detect parked status and must be connected to the power supply side of the parking brake switch. Improper connection or use may violate applicable laws and result in injury or damage. This unit is not for use with a video screen visible to the driver. To avoid accidents and legal violations, the front video image feature should never be used while driving. Other video displays should not be a distraction. Some regions may have laws against viewing images on a display inside a vehicle, even by non-drivers; these regulations must be obeyed.
Always wear your seat belt. Injuries can be more severe if your seat belt is not properly buckled. The supplier disclaims all liability for failure to follow these warnings.
OPERATION PRECAUTIONS

Video File Conversion 101
File compression is essential for fitting more media onto devices. Due to the variety of formats and codecs, it can be difficult for head units to support all types. Using a file converter can help align video file types to a standard format.
CNet offers a reliable file conversion app. You can find it at: http://download.cnet.com/Free-AVI-Video-Converter/3000-2194_4-75685273.html
After downloading and installing the app, select the 'Add File' button and browse for the file to convert. The file information will appear at the top.
Optional choices include changing the file name or the save location of the converted file.
When converting, choose the desired file format (e.g., AVI) and resolution (e.g., Normal Quality, HD options). The app offers various codecs, bit rates, and frame rates. It is recommended to keep the default settings.
Click 'Convert' to begin the conversion process.
