Ensure all wiring is connected properly using only provided parts. Install the unit in a location that does not impede the driver or injure passengers during sudden stops.

Installation Steps

Wiring Connections

A good chassis ground connection is essential for eliminating electrical noise. Ensure the ground connection area is clean, bare metal. Caution: Do not interchange wiring connections. For specific car models, consult an authorized dealer for power cord wiring modifications. Connect the power cord leads to the car battery according to the color code table.

Wiring Diagram Description: The document shows a diagram illustrating connections for power (Battery, ACC, GND), speakers (Front/Rear Left/Right), antenna, and auxiliary inputs/outputs (Audio In, Video Input, Video Output, Subwoofer Out, Line Out). It also details connections for the SXV300E tuner and steering wheel control (SWC).

Parking Wire and Reverse Camera

The parking wire should be connected to a brake signal for safety. The unit can display video when the car is stopped and the parking brake is engaged. The rear view camera output allows observation of the area behind the vehicle when backing up. Connect the rear view camera to the input and the reverse wire to the rear gear light.

Speaker Connection

Connect speakers using insulated cables. Ensure speakers are 4-8 Ohm impedance and rated at a minimum of 40 Watts. Do not use 3-cable speakers or connect speaker minus to the car body. Keep speaker cables and optional amplifiers at least 30cm away from the antenna.
