Overview

Installation

General Installation Steps:

1. Attach the two brackets to the left and right sides of the head unit using screws.
2. Install the main body chassis into the dashboard using the brackets.
3. Install the trim ring onto the body chassis.
4. Consult your dealer if drilling or modifications are needed for your vehicle.
5. Connect the wire harness and antenna to the car receiver, ensuring no wires are pinched.
6. Install the plastic outer trim ring onto the car receiver.
7. Reconnect the battery and test all functions.

Parking Wire: Connect to the brake signal for safety features. To enable rear-view camera display, connect the parking wire to the brake signal.

Reversing Line Connection: Connect the reversing line to the car's taillight or reverse driving light to display the rear-view camera image when the reverse gear is engaged.

Wiring Diagram

The unit features a 16-pin harness for various connections including power, speakers, camera input, and more. Refer to the detailed diagram for specific wire functions and speaker connections (Front Left/Right, Rear Left/Right).

Front Panel Description

The front panel includes:

• Mic: Built-in Microphone.
• IR Sensor of Remote: For receiving remote control signals.

Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Radio Mode

USB

Connect a USB device for playback of audio, video, and picture files. The interface allows browsing files, selecting media types, and controlling playback (play/pause, skip track, repeat, shuffle).

Bluetooth Audio

Connect your phone via Bluetooth to stream audio. The interface allows playback control, EQ settings, and zooming in/out of pictures.

Bluetooth Phone

Pair your phone via Bluetooth for hands-free calling. Manage contacts, view call logs, and make calls using the dial pad. The unit supports auto-answer and phonebook loading.

AV IN

Limited One-Year Consumer Warranty: Applies if purchased and installed by a Power Acoustik authorized dealer. Covers repair or replacement of defective products under normal use. Proof of purchase and installation by an authorized dealer is required. Return shipping is prepaid. Warranty is void if the product is damaged due to accident, misuse, neglect, or improper installation/removal. Specific exclusions apply, including cosmetic damage, external static/noise, antenna issues, and environmental damage.
