Instructions: Attach the laser module to the x-axis integration part and tighten the hand screws. Loosen the hand screws to adjust the laser module up or down.
Visual Description: Diagram shows connecting the laser cable to the laser module. Screws are used to secure the ground wire.
Instructions: Connect the laser cable to the laser module and loosen the screws to lock the ground wire with the screws.
Step B: Overall Assembly
Description: This step shows the complete assembly of the laser module on the gantry system.
Visual Description: The diagram illustrates the laser module mounted on the gantry system, showing its connection points and overall placement. A close-up view highlights the hand screws for attachment and adjustment, and the cable connection point.
Adjustment of Focus
Description: This section explains how to adjust the laser module's focus for optimal engraving.
Visual Description: The diagram illustrates the process of adjusting the laser module's focus. The laser module is lowered until it touches the focusing plate, and then the screws are tightened. The focusing plate is shown positioned between the laser module and the object to be engraved.
Instructions: Loosen the screw to lower the laser module until it just touches the focusing plate. The lower end of the focusing plate should be against the laser module and the engraved object. Then, tighten the screw.
Laser Module Maintenance
Description: This section provides guidance on maintaining the laser module's lens for optimal performance.
Visual Description: A diagram shows how to remove the protective guard from the laser module.
Instructions: Remove the guard.
Visual Description: A diagram shows the laser module's internal components, including a cooling fan and the laser lens.
Instructions: If the laser module is not used for a long time or used for more than 4 hours, clean the lens with medical alcohol and a cotton swab. A dirty lens can weaken laser power and potentially damage the laser.
