Installation and Settings
General Installation Notes:
- Identify pin 1 by markings like "1" or a white bold line on the motherboard.
- Clear CMOS: Use the CLR-CMOS jumper.
- Front Audio Output Ports: Connect microphone and audio output devices.
- PCI-E Slot: Supports PCI-E 4.0/5.0.
- Expansion Ports: Connect USB devices.
- F_PANEL1 Ports: Connect power switch, reset switch, HDD LED, and Power LED.
- USB3.2 Interface: Connect USB 3.2 devices.
CPU Installation:
- Align the CPU with the LGA1700 socket's indicators (raised points and golden triangle for Pin 1).
M.2 Interface Installation:
- Remove screws from the base.
- Insert the M.2 module at a 30-degree angle into the M.2 slot.
- Secure the M.2 module with the screw.
M.2 WIFI Installation:
- Disassemble and open the WIFI box.
- Mount the M.2 WIFI card into the WIFI box and connect the antenna.
- Align the M.2 WIFI interface with the motherboard slot and install it.
- Secure the WIFI box with screws.
Memory Installation:
- Pull the clips at the ends of the memory slot outwards.
- Align the memory strip with the slot's protruding position and press down.
- Ensure the clips spring back to secure the memory.

Intel Chip Information Installation:
- Navigate to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager.
- Right-click the device, select "Update driver", choose "Not connect to Internet", and "Manually installation".
- Find the correct driver directory and select "Next step".
Audio Driver Installation (HD Audio series example):
- Run the driver installer (e.g., B660M-ITX/897Audio.rar/Audio/Realtek/windows10-11/Setup.exe).
- Follow the on-screen prompts ("next", "finished"). The system will restart to complete the installation.
External Video Card Driver Installation:
- Run the driver installer (Setup.exe).
- Follow the prompts ("next", "yes", "next", "finished"). The system will automatically search for devices.
Network Driver Installation:
- Run the driver installer (e.g., B660M-ITX LAN/Install_Win7_7142_12222021.exe or Realtek_Install_Win10_10056_03222022.exe).
- Follow the prompts ("next", "installation", "finished"). Restart the computer. The system will automatically search for devices.
BIOS Settings
CMOS SETUP stores system data, powered by the motherboard battery during power off.
To enter the BIOS setup utility:
- Turn on the computer and press the "Delete/Del" key during POST (Power On Self Test).
- The warm boot key is "F7".
