Installation and Settings
General Installation Notes:
- Identify pin 1 by the marking "1" or a white bold line on the motherboard.
Component Installation Steps:
- CPU Installation: Align the CPU with the LGA1700 socket indicators and gently place it.
- M.2 Interface Installation: Secure the M.2 module using the provided screw and standoff.
- Memory Installation: Open the memory slot clips, align the RAM module with the slot, and press down until the clips lock into place.
- Graphics Card Installation: Remove case expansion slot covers, open the PCIe slot clip, insert the graphics card firmly, and secure it with screws. Connect power cables as needed.

Driver Installation
Follow these steps to install necessary drivers:

2. Intel Chip Information Installation:
Navigate to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager. Right-click on the hardware device and select "Update driver". Choose to update manually and locate the driver directory.
3. Audio Driver Installation:
For HD Audio series: Run the "Setup.exe" from the B660M-PLUSAudio/Realtek/windows10-11 directory. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation. The system may restart.
To Uninstall Audio Driver: Go to Windows Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, find "Realtek High Definition Audio Driver", and select "Remove".
4. External Video Card Driver Installation:
Run the "Setup.exe" from the external graphics card driver directory and follow the prompts.
5. Network Driver Installation:
Run the "Install_Win10_1001_05292015.exe" from the B660M-PLUS LAN driver directory. Follow the prompts to install and restart the computer.
BIOS Settings
The CMOS SETUP stores system configuration data. Access the BIOS Setup Utility by pressing the "Delete/Del" key during POST (Power On Self Test). The warm boot key is "F7".
Main Menu Functions:
- Main: System Overview (Date/Time, HDD specs, Monitor type).
- Advanced: Advanced Settings (Virus alert, booting disk priority).
- Chipset: Advanced Chipset Settings.
- Overclocking: Memory XMP Profile settings.
