Safety Information

The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from incorrect or improper installation.

If gas hob installation instructions specify a greater distance, this must be respected.

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rating plate fixed to the inside of the hood.

Means for disconnection must be incorporated in the fixed wiring according to wiring rules.

For Class I appliances, ensure domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.

Connect the extractor to the exhaust flue through a pipe of minimum diameter 120 mm. The flue route must be as short as possible.

Regulations concerning air discharge must be fulfilled.

Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts carrying combustion fumes (e.g., boilers, fireplaces).

If the extractor is used with non-electrical appliances (e.g., gas burning appliances), sufficient room aeration must be guaranteed to prevent exhaust gas backflow. Negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0.04 mbar.

Air must not be discharged into a flue used for exhausting fumes from gas or other fuel appliances.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent.

Connect the plug to an accessible socket complying with current regulations.

Follow local authority regulations for fume discharging.

Warning: Before installing the Hood, remove the protective films.

Use only screws and small parts supplied with the hood.

Warning: Failure to install screws or fixing devices in accordance with these instructions may result in electrical hazards.

Do not look directly at the light through optical devices (binoculars, magnifying glasses).

Do not flambé under the range hood; risk of fire.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.

Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specified time period (Fire hazard). Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.

The symbol ♻️ on the product or packaging indicates it must not be treated as household waste. Hand it over to the applicable collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Proper disposal prevents negative consequences for the environment and human health. For more information, contact your local city office, household waste disposal service, or the shop where you purchased the product.

Use

The extractor hood is designed exclusively for domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.

Never use the hood for purposes other than those for which it has been designed.

Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in operation.

Adjust flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only, ensuring it does not engulf the sides.

Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use; overheated oil can burst into flames.

This suction Hood can be used in combination with a Gas hob with the following characteristics:

Extending/Retracting the Appliance

Risk of injury!

Risk of jamming when retracting and extending the appliance. Never reach into the moving area of the appliance while it is being retracted or extended. Keep children at a safe distance.

Care and Cleaning

The sponge-like part of the filter can be washed in the dishwasher at least once every 4 months, or more frequently if use is particularly intense. Operation is guaranteed for up to a maximum of 5 washes, after which it must be replaced (W).

The Grease filters must be cleaned every 2 months of operation, or more frequently for particularly heavy usage, and can be washed in a dishwasher (Z).

Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.

Controls

The appliance features several control buttons (A-H) and corresponding LED indicators.

A

Function: The button only works when the door is open. Turns the motor On/Off at speed one.

Remote Control: Press and hold for approximately 5 seconds (with all loads off) to turn the Remote control On/Off.

IR+Dot (2 flashes) – Remote control On.

IR+Dot (1 flash) – Remote control Off.

B

Function: Press Briefly = Turns the Lights On/Off at maximum intensity.

Press and hold for 2 Seconds = Turns the Courtesy Lights On/Off.

Function: The button only works when the door is open. Activates / Deactivates the 24h function which turns the motor on at speed one for 10 minutes every hour, for 24 hours. At the end of this time, the hood turns Off.

D

Function: Only works with the Door Open. Decreases the operating speed. Speeds P1 - P2 are the 2 intensive speeds, set to: P1 = 5 minutes and P2 = 7 minutes. At the end of this time, the motor returns to speed two.

Displays the set speed: P2 - P1 - 3 - 2 - 1
E

Function: Only works with the Door Open. Increases the operating speed. Speeds P1 - P2 are the 2 intensive speeds, set to: P1 = 5 minutes and P2 = 7 minutes. At the end of this time, the motor returns to speed two.

Displays the set speed: 1 - 2 - 3 - P1 - P2
F

Function: Works both with the Door Closed and Open. Press and hold for 2 Seconds = Enables/Disables the Activated Charcoal Filter Alarm (motor turned off, no Filter Alarm triggered).

2 flashes C = Activated Charcoal Filter Alarm Activated.

1 flash C = Activated Charcoal Filter Alarm Deactivated.

G

Function: Only works with the Door Open. Activates/Deactivates the Delay, automatic switch-off of the motor with a 15' delay. When activated, the motor is set to speed one. If deactivated before the foreseen time, the motor remains at speed one.

Displays L
H

Function: Works both with the Door Closed and Open. Press and hold for 2 Seconds = With the filter alarm triggered, the Filter Alarm is Reset. These indications are only visible when the motor is turned off.

Door Closed: Opens the door and Motor + Lights = On.

Door Open: Closes the door and Motor + Lights = Off.

Indicates the need to wash the metal grease filters. The alarm is triggered after the Hood has been in operation for 100 working hours.

Indicates the need to change the activated charcoal filters, and also to wash the metal grease filters. The alarm is triggered after the Hood has been in operation for 200 working hours.

Remote Control (Optional)

An optional remote control is available for operating the hood.
