Important Safety Information
⚠️ Warning! Before proceeding with installation, read the Recommendations and Suggestions in the User Manual.
Safety Precautions:
Always wear protective gloves [gloves] during installation. For safe installation, it is recommended that two people are present [two-people-icon].
Clearance Requirements:
Ensure proper clearance above the cooking surface:
- Minimum 500mm above electric hobs.
- Minimum 650mm above gas hobs.
Parts and Components
Included Parts:
- A: Screws (2x, 2.9x9.5mm)
- D: Ducting Clamps (2x) for Ø 120mm - Ø 150mm ducts
- E: Filter/Grille (1x)
- F: Duct Adapter/Collar (1x)
- G: Duct Adapter/Collar (1x)
Ducting Options:
The range hood supports ducting with either a 120mm or 150mm diameter duct. Diagrams illustrate the connection points for these different duct sizes.
Installation Guidelines
Installation Types:
The diagrams illustrate two primary installation configurations:
External Ventilation: The range hood is connected to an external duct, allowing air to be expelled upwards from the unit.
Recirculation/Internal Ducting: The unit is installed with a minimum clearance of 200mm from the top of the unit to the cabinet ceiling, suitable for systems where air is filtered and recirculated or ducted internally.
Dimensions and Mounting
Overall Dimensions:
The range hood has adjustable widths ranging from 580mm to 880mm (or 600mm to 900mm depending on model variant). The depth is approximately 270mm. The main body height is approximately 339mm, with a front fascia of about 45mm. The air outlet diameter is 150mm.
Cabinet Mounting:
Diagrams show the underside of the range hood being positioned within a cabinet or housing. A locking mechanism, operated by a lever [lever-Z], secures the unit.
Assembly Steps
Cabinet Opening:
The required cabinet opening dimensions are approximately 584mm-684mm-884mm in width, with a depth of 270mm and a 20mm recess at the top.
Duct Connection:
Connect the appropriate ducting (Ø 120mm or Ø 150mm) using the provided adapter/collar (G).
Component Attachment:
Attach parts A (screws) and E (filter/grille) to the unit. Parts F and G are also shown in position.
Securing the Unit:
Detailed views show the mounting brackets and the use of two screws to securely fasten the range hood to the cabinet structure. A tool [wrench-icon] is typically required for this step.
Final Assembly:
The unit is fully secured into the cabinet using the locking mechanism [lever-Z]. Diagrams illustrate the installation or connection of fan components [fan-component-W] to the ducting system, showing correct orientation and attachment.
