Product Overview

The UMIDIGI A15C MP34 is a smartphone designed to offer a great user experience at an accessible price point. It features a robust set of hardware and software capabilities, developed with contributions from a dedicated community.

Device Layout

Power Button: Long press to turn on the device. When the device is on, short press the Power Button to shut down or turn on the screen. The Power Button also functions as a fingerprint scanner.

Volume Buttons: Short press to adjust the volume or to mute incoming calls.

Front of Device: Features a front camera, receiver, and light/proximity sensor.

Back of Device: Houses the rear camera system (48MP Main, 8MP Super Wide Angle, 2MP Macro), and the UMIDIGI logo.

Bottom of Device: Includes Mic 1, USB Type-C port, and speaker.

Side of Device: Features the SIM/TF slot and a customizable button.

Card Insertion Manual

Insert Nano-SIM Card

Face the chip side of the Nano-SIM card towards the user when inserting it into the slot. Be aware of the direction of the cut edge when placing the Nano-SIM card into the slot.

Reminder: Please use a standard Nano-SIM card. Do not use non-standard cards that are hand-cut to prevent damage to the SIM slot and card tray, and to avoid card-rejection situations.

TF Card Installation

Place the metal contact of the TF card towards the user, being aware of the direction of the cut edge. Place the card onto the tray and insert it into the device.

Reminder: Please turn off the phone before changing or replacing the TF card. The TF card does not come with the phone; please purchase separately. Please do not plug in and out of the SIM card tray when the phone is on. Be careful when using the slot thimble to avoid scratching the phone.

Dual-SIM Management

Choose which SIM card slot will be the main one for the 4G network via Settings > SIM Card. Choose your preferred network types (4G/3G/2G) via Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > Preferred network type.

Dual-card standby: This means you can insert two SIM cards and have them both on standby, but you cannot make phone calls simultaneously. During standby mode, both cards are available for receiving calls, but once one card is activated, the other cannot receive or make calls.

Fingerprint ID

You can unlock the screen using the fingerprint ID function. Click Settings > Security & Location > Fingerprint, and enter your fingerprint information by following the on-screen instructions.

Reminder: Please ensure your finger is clean and dry when providing your fingerprint information. Enter the information of your finger pulp. When unlocking the phone by fingerprint, place your finger pulp on the touch ID sensor for about a second.

Network Connection

Connecting WLAN

Navigate to WLAN settings via Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. When WLAN is on, a list of available WiFi connections will appear. Click on the one you want to connect to, enter the password if the network is encrypted, then click Connect. For public networks, simply click Connect. When the network shows "connected", it is available for use.

Bluetooth Function

Navigate to Bluetooth settings via Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth. Enable the Bluetooth function by clicking the Menu Button and selecting "Refresh". The phone will then search for available Bluetooth devices for pairing and list them on the screen. Click on the device you want to pair with, then click "Pair" on the pop-up dialog. Documents are available for transmission after Bluetooth pairing.

Reminder: Slide down the status bar twice to open the shortcut switches for Bluetooth and other functions.

WLAN Hot-spot Setting

Click on Settings > Network & Internet > Hotspot & tethering > Wi-Fi hotspot to turn on the Portable WLAN Hot-spot function. When setting up the WLAN hot-spot, enter your username in "Network Name" and your password, then click Save. Another device can use the WLAN hot-spot by searching for it and entering the password.

Reminder: Please enable the Data Connection before enabling the network sharing function. Your mobile data will be shared by other devices, so please use it carefully. The signal strength of the WLAN hot-spot depends on the signal strength and the connected devices.

Camera

Aim the camera at the shooting object, and the phone will start focusing automatically. Alternatively, you can tap on the screen to choose the object you want to focus on, then tap the "Capture" icon to take photos. You can also choose other modes such as video recording, beautifying, or panorama to take photos/videos.

Security Information

Security information (including BS, ES, battery security information) for third-party software installation and functions may vary by region or hardware specifications. UMIDIGI disclaims responsibility for performance problems or incompatibility caused by third-party applications, registry editing, or OS software modification. Customizing the OS may cause the device or some applications to fail to work properly.

Please prevent the device or battery from being exposed to extreme cold or hot conditions. Extreme temperatures can lead to deformation of the phone and reduce charging capacity and battery life.

Please use only the custom-designed and approved battery and recharger by UMIDIGI. Incompatible batteries and rechargers may cause damage to the phone. Please abide by local regulations when disposing of used batteries and phones.

Please do not place the battery or phone onto or inside heating devices such as microwaves, ovens, or radiators. The battery may explode if it gets too hot. Please do not crush or pierce the battery. Prevent the battery from experiencing high pressure from the outside, as this may cause internal short circuits and overheating.
