Usage Notes and Warnings
This machine is designed exclusively for shaving ice. It is suitable for small ice cubes with a side length of no more than 2-3CM. Large ice cubes may cause the machine to jam or damage the motor.
WARNING
The blade is very SHARP and requires careful operation. Do not pour water directly into the hopper or feed to clean, as this can cause electrical short circuits or electric shock. Always unplug the ice shaver before cleaning.
Follow basic guidelines for appliance use. High-humidity environments increase the risk of short circuits or electric shock. If in doubt, cut off power. Turn off the machine via the switch and unplug it. Children or individuals with disabilities must not use the ice shaver without adult supervision.
Clean and Maintenance
- Before cleaning or maintenance operations, ensure the main switch is off and the power plug is disconnected from the mains. Clean the equipment and discs daily for correct operation and longevity.
- After each use, ensure the blade is clean. Washing with clean water helps maintain blade cleanliness and prevents corruption, prolonging its service life.
- Cleaning Internal and External Parts: Unplug the power plug before any cleaning or maintenance procedures. Do not use alcohol to clean the ice shaver, as it may cause plastic parts to crack.
- Exterior Cleaning: Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the outside of the ice shaver after each use. For grease or other impurities, use a damp cloth moistened with a neutral detergent.
- Crushed Ice Container Cleaning: Immerse the container in a mixture of neutral detergent and water for at least 3 minutes, then rinse with water and dry.
- The blade is a natural wear part. After a certain time and quantity of ingredients, the blade will wear out. It is necessary to purchase a replacement blade of the corresponding specification. Improper operation or cutting hard ingredients can also damage the blade.
- Periodically check for loose set screws and tighten them to maintain the machine.
- If the machine is idle for a long time, disconnect the main wall switch and clean the machine and its accessories thoroughly.
