12 Display Format Settings

Display Mode Settings
Game Mode: This function is enabled by default.
- Reduces Input Lag: When Game Mode is active, the streaming device signals the TV or monitor to enter low latency mode. This minimizes the delay between a button press and the action appearing on screen.
- Disables Video Processing: TVs often apply post-processing to enhance video quality (e.g., motion smoothing or upscaling). Game Mode turns off most of these processes for quicker response times.
- Optimizes for Cloud Gaming: For streaming devices supporting cloud gaming (e.g., NVIDIA GeForce NOW, Xbox Cloud Gaming), enabling Game Mode improves responsiveness for a better gaming experience.
12.1 Format Selection
Automatic: If you select Automatic display format, the system allows installed apps to automatically adjust the HDR format to your display device. All apps will automatically display video content in the optimal video format, though not necessarily the highest quality.
Manual: If this option is selected, you can manually disable HDR formats that playback devices do not support or that may cause playback issues. Unsupported HDR formats will be listed under "Unsupported Formats" and cannot be enabled. Installed apps may automatically select a video format that is not displayed at the highest video quality.
13 Sound Format Settings
Press the Settings button on the remote control or select the Settings icon on the home screen and navigate to Display & Sound > Advanced sound settings.
Available Sound Format Settings:
- Automatic: This sound setting is enabled by default. It automatically detects and selects the optimal audio format supported by your TV. It is recommended to keep this setting enabled for the best sound quality.
