Product Identification and Features
This manual provides instructions for the Onn ONA 18AA019, ONA 18AA020, and ONA 18AA021 portable Bluetooth speakers.
Physical Layout:
- Front/Top Panel: Features a speaker grille, a microphone (Mic), a '+' button for volume up/next track, a '-' button for volume down/previous track, and a Play/Pause button. A Blue/Red LED indicator is also visible.
- Bottom/Side Panel: Includes an AUX IN port for wired audio connections, a USB Charging port (MicroUSB) for power, and an indicator light.
Button Functions
Play/Pause Button
- Long Press: Powers the device on or off. Also used to reject an incoming call or switch between active calls (#1 and #2).
- Short Press: Plays or pauses audio playback. Answers an incoming call or supports third-party call handling.
'+' Button
- Press: Increases the volume and synchronizes Bluetooth volume with iOS devices.
- Long Press: Skips to the next audio track.
'-' Button
- Press: Decreases the volume and synchronizes Bluetooth volume with iOS devices.
- Long Press: Skips to the previous audio track.
Multi-Function Buttons
- Pressing the '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously disconnects the active Bluetooth connection.
LED Indicator Guide
- Pairing/Connection Status: When Bluetooth is not connected, the LED flashes blue then red during the pairing process. Once a Bluetooth connection is established, the LED flashes blue every 5 seconds.
- Charging Status: The LED displays a solid red light while the device is charging. The light turns off upon completion of charging.
- Line-in Mode: When connected via the AUX IN port, the LED flashes blue slowly every 3 seconds.
- Charging Port: The device is charged using a DC5V-300mA MicroUSB port.

- For the black model: Onn SPKR A019
- For the pink model: Onn SPKR A020
- For the blue model: Onn SPKR A021
Operational Notes
- Automatic Shutdown: The speaker is designed to automatically shut down after 2 minutes of inactivity if no Bluetooth connection is established. If a Bluetooth connection is active, it will shut down after 15 minutes of non-operation.
- Static Current: The device consumes less than 15uA of static current.
- Bluetooth Transmission Distance: The effective wireless range is not less than 10 meters.
