Symbols Used
⚠️ WARNING! This symbol indicates a hazard that can lead to serious personal injury or property damage.
Important Warnings
- Mechanical, electrical, or thermal protection devices must not be modified.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or with lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have received instructions on how to use the appliance safely and understand the risks involved.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children without adult supervision.
- Never rinse the top part of the vacuum cleaner with water. This poses a risk of electric shock.
- Never use the vacuum cleaner without a filter or if the filter is damaged.
- The vacuum cleaner has a blower function. Do not blow air into open spaces. Only use the blower function with a clean hose. Dust can be harmful to health.
Hazardous Materials
⚠️ WARNING! Suctioning hazardous materials can cause serious personal injury or, in the worst case, fatal accidents.
The following materials must not be sucked up with the vacuum cleaner:
- Health-hazardous dust
- Hot material (e.g., burning cigarettes, hot ash, etc.)
- Flammable, explosive, corrosive liquids (e.g., petrol, solvents, acids, alkaline solutions, etc.)
- Flammable, explosive dust (e.g., magnesium or aluminum dust, etc.)
Electrical Connection
⚠️ WARNING!
- Before using the vacuum cleaner, check that the voltage indicated on the vacuum cleaner's rating plate matches the mains voltage.
- It is recommended to connect the vacuum cleaner via a residual current device (RCD).
- The vacuum cleaner must not be used if the mains cable or plug is damaged. Regularly inspect the mains cable and plug for damage. If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced by Nilfisk service or a qualified electrician before the machine is put into use to prevent hazards.
- Do not handle the mains cable or plug with wet/damp hands.
- Hold the plug when disconnecting the machine from the mains. Pull the plug, never the cable. The plug must always be removed from the socket before service or repair is carried out on the machine or cable.

Recycling
The packaging can be recycled. Dispose of the components for recycling instead of in household waste. You can also return the packaging directly to your local Nilfisk dealer for proper recycling.
According to WEEE Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical and electronic equipment, obsolete electrical products must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Contact your local authorities or nearest dealer for further information.
Warranty
Nilfisk provides a two-year warranty on vacuum cleaners for domestic use. If the vacuum cleaner or its accessories are submitted for repair, a copy of the receipt must be presented.
Warranty repairs are carried out under the following conditions:
- The defects can be attributed to faults or defects in material or workmanship. (Normal wear and tear and incorrect use are not covered by the warranty).
- The guidelines in this instruction manual have been carefully followed.
- No repairs or attempted repairs have been carried out by anyone other than Nilfisk-trained service technicians.
- Only original accessories have been used.
- The product has not been damaged, e.g., subjected to impact, shock, or frost.
- The vacuum cleaner has not been used for rental or any other form of commercial use.
Batteries, lamps, and worn parts are not covered by the warranty. If defects occur during the warranty period and Nilfisk is notified, Nilfisk will, at its discretion, either repair the defects or refund the purchase price upon return of the unit. Opening the unit's housing voids the warranty. Further claims under the warranty cannot be made. The customer's statutory warranty rights are not affected. Warranty claims against the manufacturer must be directed to the manufacturer. Statutory warranty rights are not affected in this case either.
Liquid Pickup
Before suctioning liquids, the filter bag must always be removed. Insert the wet suction filter. Check that the float functions correctly. If foam appears or liquid exits the machine, work must be stopped immediately and the dirt container emptied.

- Turn off the vacuum cleaner.
- Turn off the appliance to be connected.
⚠️ WARNING! For appliances connected to the appliance socket, follow the respective appliance's instruction manual and safety regulations contained therein.
Always pull out the vacuum cleaner cord completely before use.
The power consumption of the connected appliance must never exceed the value indicated on the vacuum cleaner's rating plate. The operating voltage indicated on the rating plate must match the mains voltage.
