8. FAQ
1. How do I turn on the camera?
Cover the light detector for about a minute after turning on the camera to simulate night mode, then check if the infrared LEDs are on. If they are, the camera is powered on normally.
2. What if the camera network "IPCAM-xxxxxx" is not found and the mobile device (phone, etc.) cannot connect to the camera?
Please reset the camera to factory settings and then search for the internet again with your mobile device. (Do not connect the network cable when searching for the camera network on the mobile device).
3. How can I recover the camera's password?
If you have forgotten the password, you need to reset the camera to factory settings.
4. How do I reset the camera to factory settings?
If the camera is connected online, find the reset option in the mobile app or PC software to reset the camera. If the camera is offline, you can press and hold the reset button on the camera's port row for 15-20 seconds to reset the camera.
5. How can I delete videos on the TF card?
When the TF card is full, the camera automatically deletes the original recordings on the TF card. If you want to delete videos manually, you can access the Ctronics pro APP TF card settings and format the TF card.
6. I have set up the camera's WLAN network. But when I unplug the network cable, the camera is no longer connected.
The camera does not support special characters (e.g., è àoäöü...) or symbols (@#&0,.) in the WLAN SSID and WLAN password. Please use normal German letters and numbers. Simultaneously, check your router settings and ensure that the WLAN encryption is not set to the combined algorithm aes + TKIP, which is not supported.
7. The time displayed on the recorded video is incorrect. What is the difference from the actual recording time?
The camera's timezone is GMT+8 by default. Please go to the camera's time settings and select the correct timezone for your camera. If you have daylight saving time, please enable it. Don't forget to check the changes after selecting the new timezone. The camera will restart to obtain the correct time.
8. The alarm recording only lasts 15 seconds. How can I change the length of the alarm video?
The length of the alarm video is fixed at 15 seconds and cannot be changed. If the camera continues to detect motion after the 15 seconds expire, a new recording will start. If the action lasts longer than 15 seconds, multiple recordings will be made.
Additional Notes:
- If the FTP server was enabled for video transmission but no alarm video was found on the server, it might be due to insufficient storage on the camera. Insert a TF card to complete video transmission.
- If a clear line appears in the middle of the screen in full-screen mode, it's because the dual lenses are too close to the target. Move the camera slightly further away from the object.
