1. General Product Description

Ctronics CTIPC security cameras are indoor or outdoor cameras with various forms and functions. They are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones, as well as Windows and Mac PCs. Users can install multiple Ctronics CTIPC security cameras on a single device.

2. Configuration

After powering on, the camera will start to operate. It can be used as a standalone video recorder. It is recommended to connect it to a mobile device or PC for easy access. The camera can be added and managed via a mobile app, PC software, or PC browser.

3. App Download and Installation on a Mobile Phone

Search for the "Ctronics pro" app on the App Store or Google Play, download, and install it on your phone.

Note: When connecting the camera, a message will appear asking "Extended mobile phone usage permissions for the APP?". Choose "Yes" to enable all app functions.

3.1 Login ID Registration

A personal account in the app can protect your privacy. Only you can view it.

  1. Open the app and select "Register" to access the registration interface (See Image 1).
  2. Enter your email address for registration and click "Get Verification Code". After receiving the verification code, enter it in the corresponding field, enter and confirm your password, and click "Register" to complete the registration (See Image 2).

4. WiFi Connection

4.1 Method A: Configure the network via the mobile phone's personal hotspot.

Step 1: Preparations

  1. Connect the camera to a suitable power source and place it near your mobile device and router.
  2. After powering on and self-checking, press and hold "Reset" for 8 seconds, releasing the button when you hear a tone indicating successful reset.
  3. Note: After completing this step, wait 1 minute before proceeding.
  4. Access the WLAN configuration interface of your mobile device, find your home WiFi network in the list of WiFi networks, and connect to it.

Step 2: Connect the camera to your WiFi network.

  1. Open the "Ctronics pro" mobile app on your phone, tap the "+" symbol (Image 3) and select "Camera (WIFI/Cable)" (Image 4) to enter the add device interface (Image 5).
  2. Tap "New device" and check if the camera is powered on (Fig. 6). If so, tap "The device is powered on. Next step" to access the network cable connection confirmation interface. If the network cable is not connected, tap "Network cable not connected" (Image 7) to choose the network configuration interface.
  3. Choose "Acoustic distribution network equipment" as the addition method (Image 8) and tap "Go to add" to scan the camera's QR code (Image 9).

Once scanned correctly, the camera will automatically connect to its hotspot. Tap "CONNECT" (Image 10) to enter the wireless configuration interface.

  1. Select your home WiFi network, enter your password, confirm it, and tap "Configure wireless network and add" (Image 11) for configuration.

The camera will automatically connect to the WiFi network. Tap "confirm" to add the camera (Image 12).

(*Note: Ensure your home WiFi password contains a maximum of 31 characters and no special characters like "?!" or "&,.". It is recommended that the password contains both digits and letters.)

4.2 Method B: Configure the network via a network cable.

Step 1: Preparations

  1. Connect the camera to a suitable power source and place it near your mobile device and router.
  2. Take the network cable included in the package, connect one end to the router's LAN port and the other end to the camera's network cable interface. (If the indicator light on the network cable interface blinks, it indicates a correct network connection).
  3. Access the WLAN configuration interface of your mobile device, find your home WiFi network in the list of WiFi networks, and connect to it.
  4. (Note: Ensure the WiFi network connected to your mobile phone and the network cable connected to the camera share the same router).

Step 2: Add the camera to the "Ctronics pro" APP and connect it to the WiFi network.

  1. Open the "Ctronics pro" mobile app on your phone, tap the "+" symbol (Image 13) and select "Camera (WIFI/Cable)" (Image 14) to enter the add device interface (Image 15).
  2. Tap "New device" and check if the camera is powered on (Image 16). If so, tap "The device is powered on. Next step" to access the network cable connection confirmation interface. If the network cable is connected, tap "Network cable connected" to enter the device list interface (Image 17).
  3. In the device list interface, select the device UID (Image 18) you are looking for. The app will automatically jump to the device information interface.
  4. After confirming the device information, tap "ADD TO" (Image 19). Select your home WiFi network, enter your password, confirm it, and tap "Configure wireless network and add" (Image 20) for configuration. The camera will automatically connect to the WiFi network. Tap "confirm" to add the camera (Image 21).

5. App Overview

In the main app interface, the user can view videos saved on the device's MicroSD card, and screenshots and local videos from the camera. You can visit the camera and configure its parameters (Image 22).
