- Exit the configuration menu.
- Press the step-by-step key; the automation will start to OPEN and continue until the SELECTION or MODE key is pressed. Upon release, the motor stops, and that position is memorized as the pedestrian run. The second channel learned (b) will now manage the pedestrian function.
To change the pedestrian run, repeat the procedure described above.
To disable the pedestrian function: Use the SELECTION key to disable the pedestrian feature (CODE and WORK TIME LEDs flashing). Pressing the MODE key again will disable the function, indicated by the CODE and WORK TIME LEDs lighting up for a few seconds. If disabled, each time it is re-enabled, it will be necessary to reset the time.
5.3 Electric lock (only on AV1 with optional card)
The control box is supplied with this function deactivated. To use this function, an optional additional card is necessary.
There is an auxiliary output for the use of an electric lock. The activation time is fixed at 3 SECONDS. With a closed gate, a command to open will activate the lock immediately, and the gate will have a delay of 1 second. The electric lock remains active for another two seconds after the start of movement.
To enable this function:
- Press the SELECTION key five times; the WORK TIME & AUTO CLOSE LEDs will light up.
- Pressing the MODE key once will ENABLE the ELECTRIC LOCK feature, indicated by a few FLASHES of the WORK TIME and AUTO CLOSE LEDs.
TO DISABLE IT: Use the SELECTION key on the electric lock ability (WORK TIME & AUTO CLOSE LEDs flashing). Pressing the MODE key again will disable the function, indicated by the WORK TIME and AUTO CLOSE LEDs lighting up for a few seconds. In the event that the function is activated on the AV version, a delay of 1 second will be noted in the opening phase.
5.4 Allmatic or customized variable code
The unit is fitted with the Allmatic variable decoding code.

6. Advanced programming
FUNCTIONS SELECTION: Personalization of the automation is possible by operating on the jumpers present on the central control panel. The table below describes the working and effect of each jumper.
N.B.: DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY EACH TIME THAT YOU OPERATE THE JUMPER!!!
To make the personalization phase easier, it is advisable to set the jumpers by removing the optional additional card.
Jumper Settings:
- J1:
- POS.1: The transmitter works in IMPULSE MODE. The memorized key runs these functions: OPEN...STOP...CLOSE...STOP. The second channel memorized by the transmitter manages the PEDESTRIAN mode (in this mode, the transmitter cannot carry out either the deadman function or the normal working function).
- POS.2: The OPEN/CLOSE FUNCTION manages the automation acting on 2 transmitter keys. The first commands the gate to open, the second to close. J1 in position 2 has another possibility of personalizing the central computer acting on jumper 2.
- J2:
- POS.1: Determines the NORMAL WORKING of the wall keys and the transmitter. Pressing the open key opens the gate completely; pressing the key a second time blocks the gate. To stop movement, press the key for the other direction (close key). The same applies to opening. In this J2 configuration, the intervention of photoelectric cells during closure blocks the gate and inverts the movement.
- POS.2: Determines the PERSON PRESENT function with keys on the wall and transmitter (if jumper 1 = POS.2). The automation begins to open or close for the precise time of the relative transmitter button or key. In this J2 configuration, the intervention of the photoelectric cells stops the movement until the obstacle is removed. The movement will recommence, either opening or closing as selected.
- J3:
- OPEN: The central computer allows FIXED CODE transmitter setting.
- CLOSED: The central computer allows VARIABLE CODE transmitter setting.
Important: To switch from FIXED CODE to VARIABLE CODE (and vice versa), it is necessary to RESET the control panel!
- J4:
- Condominium function: The unit is provided with a deactivated master function. The master function is activated and deactivated using jumper J4.
- J4 CLOSED = CONDOMINIUM FUNCTION ACTIVATED
- J4 OPEN = CONDOMINIUM FUNCTION DEACTIVATED
To activate the master function, switch the unit on and then...
CONDOMINIUM FUNCTION: The opening mechanism starts with an impulse command when the gate is closed. Any other impulse command is ignored. Once completely opened, reclosure is commanded only by time. If not set, the gate remains open. A preset reclosing time of 30 seconds is considered. The photocell reloads the entire reclosing time when the gate is open. If the photocell remains interrupted, the gate does not restart. During reclosure, an impulse command stops the unit and makes the automation reopen completely.
- J5: Limit-switch or button use selection. (Described in Section 3).
7. Additional card for AV1 (not supplied as standard)
The AV1 version has a connector where it is possible to insert an additional card for outputs connecting the electric lock and the sensor light. The lighting time of the sensor light is fixed at 1 minute and 30 seconds; it lights each time the motor begins.
CONNECTOR TO INSTALL TO THE AV1 CENTRAL COMPUTER:
- TERMINALS 1 & 2: Output for sensor light. Timed for 90 SEC.
- TERMINALS 3 & 4: Output for electric lock. Timed for 3 SEC.
- CLEAN CONTACTS WITHOUT VOLTAGE. Max load 220 V - 5 A.
WARNING:
- Some points on the electrical control panel carry dangerously high voltage. Installation, opening, and programming must be carried out by qualified personnel only.
- Use equipment ensuring omnipolar disconnection of the system's power supply (e.g., a switch with a minimum contact distance of 3 mm per pole, or an integrated device).
- Control the absorption of all devices connected to the control panel's outputs (pilot lights, photoelectric cells, safety devices, etc.) to stay within the technical limits. Incorrect usage may lead to malfunctioning.
- To maximize the central unit's capacity, ensure the antenna is not directed towards walls or metallic screens. The antenna's screened cable terminals must be tightly closed.
- A tuned antenna is necessary for maximum system performance; otherwise, the range may be reduced.
- The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by ignoring these warnings.
