Operation
Safety Measures
Important! All works on assembly and installation of the lamp should be performed only with a disconnected power supply!
- It is prohibited to use the lamp in a very humid environment (bathroom, etc.).
- If you use bulbs with higher capacity or of a structure different than those indicated in the user manual and on the lamp's marking, the lamp may stop working and result in the loss of the right for warranty service.
- Clean the lamp with a soft dry cloth.
- Do not use chemically active or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the lamp.
How to Use
Inspect the product in order to ensure the integrity of the plug, the power cord and the lamp. Put the bulb into the lamp. Insert the plug into the socket.
Maintenance
To replace the bulb:
- Disconnect the lamp from the power supply network.
- Give the bulb and the lamp case time to cool down.
- Make sure that the replacement bulb suits the lamp in terms of type and capacity.
- Remove the old bulb and install the new bulb.
Transportation and Storage
The product should be transported and stored in the package in compliance with safety precautions to avoid mechanical damage and exposure to atmospheric precipitation.
Disposal
The product should be disposed of in compliance with local legal requirements.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol [?️] indicates that the item should be disposed of separately from household waste. The item should be handed in for recycling in accordance with local environmental regulations for waste disposal. By separating a marked item from household waste, you will help reduce the volume of waste sent to incinerators or land-fill and minimize any potential negative impact on human health and the environment. Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Attach the lamp arm to the base. Insert the cable through the designated channel in the base and secure it.
Step 2: Connect the wires inside the base. Ensure proper connection of the power cord.
Step 3: Secure the base with a screw.
Step 4: Insert the lamp arm into the base.
Step 5 & 6: Route the power cord through the lamp arm and secure it.
Step 7: Continue routing the power cord.
Step 8: Secure the lamp arm to the base with a screw.
Step 9: Attach the lamp head assembly.
Step 10 & 11: Install the light bulb. Ensure the correct bulb type (GUZ 5.3 LED) is used.
Step 12: Connect the power adapter.
Adjustments: The lamp head and arm can be adjusted for optimal lighting. Refer to the diagrams for specific adjustment points.
Operation: The lamp has adjustable brightness. Use the dimmer control to set the desired light level.
Important Safety Note: If the external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. If you are uncertain, please contact IKEA.
