WARNING – Risk of Fire!
- Fatty deposits in grease filters can catch fire. Never operate without a grease filter and clean filters regularly.
- Keep naked flames away from the appliance (e.g., flambéing).
- Do not install near solid fuel heating appliances unless they have a sealed, non-removable cover and no flying sparks.
- Hot oil and fat ignite quickly; always supervise them. Never extinguish burning oil or fat with water.
- When gas burners are in use without cookware, they can generate heat that may damage or ignite the ventilation appliance above. Only operate gas burners with cookware.
- Select the highest fan setting when operating multiple gas hobs simultaneously for extended periods.
- Never operate large burners (over 5 kW) with the highest flame for longer than 15 minutes.
- Clean grease filters regularly.
WARNING – Risk of Suffocation!
- Keep packaging material and small parts away from children to prevent suffocation.
WARNING – Risk of Poisoning!
- Ensure adequate fresh air when operating in exhaust air mode simultaneously with room-air-dependent heat-producing appliances. Consult a chimney sweep for ventilation assessment.
- Unrestricted operation is possible in circulating-air mode.
- Switch on the extractor hood when using a gas cooking appliance.
WARNING – Risk of Burns!
- Appliance parts become hot during operation; avoid touching them and keep children at a safe distance. Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.
WARNING – Risk of Injury!
- Internal components may have sharp edges; clean the interior carefully.
- Do not make any changes to the electrical or mechanical assembly.
- Do not look directly into LED lights for longer than 100 seconds due to potential eye damage.
- Repairs should only be carried out by trained specialist staff.
2 Avoiding Material Damage
ATTENTION
- Prevent condensation by switching on the appliance during cooking.
- Avoid moisture getting into the controls; never clean controls with a wet cloth.
- Do not use harsh, abrasive detergents, or cleaning products with high alcohol content.
- Clean stainless steel surfaces in the direction of the finish only.
- Never clean controls with stainless steel cleaners.
- Ensure the air extraction duct has a gradient of at least 1° from the appliance to prevent condensate from flowing back.
- Do not pull design elements or place objects on them.
- Remove protective film before first use to prevent surface damage.
- Painted surfaces are easily damaged; follow cleaning instructions and avoid scratches.
- If the appliance is defective, contact Customer Service.
WARNING – Risk of Electric Shock!

- Repairs should only be carried out by trained specialist staff using genuine spare parts.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, Customer Service, or a qualified person.
- An ingress of moisture can cause electric shock; do not use steam or high-pressure cleaners, or wet sponge cloths.
WARNING – Risk of Explosion!
- Avoid highly caustic alkaline or highly acidic cleaning agents, especially with aluminium parts like grease filters, as they can cause explosions.
3 Environmental Protection and Saving Energy
3.1 Disposing of Packaging
Packaging materials are environmentally compatible and recyclable. Sort components by type and dispose of them separately.
3.2 Saving Energy
- Adjust fan speed to the amount of steam produced during cooking. Lower fan speed consumes less energy.
- Use intensive mode only when necessary.
- Select a higher fan speed in good time if cooking produces large amounts of steam.
- Switch off the lighting when not required.
- Clean or replace filters at regular intervals to maintain effectiveness.
- Put the cooking lid on to reduce cooking vapours and condensation.
- Only use additional functions if required, as switching them off reduces power consumption.
- Product information in accordance with (EU) 65/2014 and (EU) 66/2014 is available online.
4 Operating Modes
Your appliance can be used in air extraction mode or circulating-air mode.
4.1 Air Extraction Mode
Air is drawn in, cleaned by grease filters, and conveyed to the exterior via a pipe system. Ensure the exhaust air is not discharged into a flue used for other fuel-burning appliances. If conveying exhaust air into a non-functioning smoke or exhaust gas flue, obtain consent from the heating engineer. Use a telescopic duct for conveying exhaust air through an external wall.
4.2 Air Recirculation
Air is drawn in, cleaned by grease filters and an odour filter, and conveyed back into the room. An odour filter must be installed to bind odours. Refer to the catalogue or dealer for accessory options.
