  • 2. Ripple & noise are measured at 20MHz of bandwidth by using a 12" twisted pair-wire terminated with a 0.1 µF & 47 µF parallel capacitor.
  • 3. Tolerance: includes set up tolerance, line regulation and load regulation.
  • 4. Line regulation is measured from low line to high line at rated load.
  • 5. Load regulation is measured from 0% to 100% rated load.
  • 6. The power supply is considered a component which will be installed into a final equipment. All the EMC tests are been executed by mounting the unit on a 360mm*360mm metal plate with 1mm of thickness. The final equipment must be re-confirmed that it still meets EMC directives. Block Diagram:

The block diagram illustrates the internal signal flow: AC input (I/P) passes through an EMI FILTER, then RECTIFIERS & FILTER, followed by POWER SWITCHING controlled by PWM CONTROL and O.L.P. (Over Load Protection). The output stage includes RECTIFIERS & FILTER and a DETECTION CIRCUIT, providing the final DC output (+V, -V). The FG (Frame Ground) is connected to the chassis.

Derating Curves:

Ambient Temperature Derating: The derating curve shows that the 3.3V model's load capacity begins to decrease around 50°C ambient temperature, while other models maintain full load capacity up to 70°C ambient temperature. The x-axis represents Ambient Temperature (°C) from -20 to 70, and the y-axis represents Load (%).

Output Derating vs. Input Voltage: This graph shows that the power supply operates at 100% load across the entire input voltage range from 88VAC to 264VAC, with no significant derating required within this range. The x-axis represents Input Voltage (VAC) from 88 to 264, and the y-axis represents Load (%).
