Water Resistance
Orient watches are designed with varying degrees of water resistance to suit different activities.
- 50M (5 ATM): Suitable for daily wear, splashes, and light rain.
- 100M (10 ATM): Suitable for swimming and snorkeling.
- 150M (15 ATM): Suitable for water sports and shallow water activities.
- 200M (20 ATM): Suitable for scuba diving.
To maintain water resistance, ensure the crown is fully pushed in or screwed down. Avoid operating buttons or the crown underwater.
Key Functions and Operations
Setting the Time
To set the time:
- Pull the crown out to the second click position.
- Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands.
- Push the crown back to the normal position to secure the setting.
Note: The time setting process often involves aligning hands within a 12-hour cycle, typically between 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM for accurate AM/PM indication.
Setting the Date
To set the date:
- Pull the crown out to the first click position.
- Rotate the crown to select the desired date.
- Push the crown back to the normal position.
It is recommended to set the date when the time is between 1:00 AM and 11:00 PM to prevent incorrect date changes.
Alarm Function
