Start-up and Operation
Mains Voltage: 100-240 V (suitable for worldwide use, may require country-specific adapter).
Check Notebook Voltage: Ensure your notebook requires 15V/19V (+/- 1 Volt). ⓘ This information is on the original power supply or in the notebook's manual. Consult the dealer or manufacturer if unsure.
Set Voltage Selector: Adjust the switch to the required voltage.
Warning: Do not use if voltage cannot be determined. Do not change voltage during operation. Ensure total notebook power consumption does not exceed 65W. Failure to comply may damage the unit and connected device. ⚠️
Connection Steps:
- Check Voltage: Refer to your notebook's manual or the original power supply to determine the correct voltage requirement (15V or 19V). ⓘ This is illustrated by a laptop screen showing 'VOLT' under a magnifying glass.
- Select Connector: Choose the appropriate notebook connector from the provided set that matches the connector on your original power supply. ⓘ This is shown by comparing the original adapter's connector with seven different notebook connectors, marking the correct one with a checkmark (✓).
- Test Compatibility: Without connecting to the power supply, check the mechanical fit between the selected notebook connector and your notebook's power socket. The connector should slide in easily but without excessive play.
- Connect Cable: Attach the selected notebook connector to the DC connection cable of the power supply unit. [image: connector being inserted into cable end]
- Connect Power: Connect the power cord to the power supply unit and then to your notebook. Then, connect the mains plug to a properly installed wall socket. [image: sequence of connecting laptop, cable, plug, and socket]
- Use: The notebook can now be used and charged.
Care and Maintenance
