Start-up and Operation
Mains voltage: 100 – 240 V
The power supply unit is suitable for mains voltages of 100-240V and can be used worldwide. A country-specific adapter may be necessary.
- Ensure your notebook requires a supply voltage of 15V/19V (+/- 1 Volt). This information can be found on the original power supply unit or in your terminal device's operating manual.
- Set the voltage selector switch to the voltage required by your terminal device.
- ⚠️ Warning: Do not use if you cannot definitively determine your terminal device's supply voltage.
- Do not change the voltage during operation.
- Ensure the notebook's total power consumption does not exceed the power supply unit's rated output of 45 W. Failure to comply may cause damage.
Connecting the Notebook Connector:
- Do not use force to connect the notebook connector.
- Missing or lost connectors can be requested via www.hama.com/adapter-service.
- Select the appropriate connector based on the original power supply unit's connector.
- Without connecting to the power supply, check mechanical compatibility between the notebook connector and the terminal device's socket.
- The connector should slide easily into the socket but without excessive play.
Connecting to Power:
- Operate only from an approved, accessible socket near the product.
- Disconnect the product using the On/Off switch, or unplug the power cord if no switch is available.
- If using a multi-socket power strip, ensure total power consumption does not exceed its rating.
- Connect the appropriate notebook connector to the DC connection cable.
- Connect the power cord to the power supply unit and your terminal device.
- Connect the mains plug to a properly installed socket.
- The terminal device can now be used and switched on/charged.
ℹ️ Note: Disconnect the product from the mains after use.
Care and Maintenance
ℹ️ Note: Disconnect the product from the mains before cleaning.
