Product Overview

The Speaki Bluetooth Speaker features the following components:

• 1. LED indicator
• 2. Power button
• 3. Play button

The speaker is depicted from multiple angles, showing the placement of buttons and ports. One view shows the top with buttons labeled 1-6, and another view shows the back with ports labeled 8 and 9, and the LED battery indicator labeled 7.

Quick Start Guide

Turning Speaki On/Off

To power on, long press the power button for 2 seconds. Speaki will announce “power on” whilst the LED indicator light at the top will light up. It will flash blue/red until a Bluetooth connection has been established.

To power off, long press the power button for 2 seconds. The speaker will announce “power off” with the LED indicator also turning off.

To preserve battery, Speaki will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of no Bluetooth or 3.5mm aux connection.

Connecting via 3.5mm Aux Cable

To play audio using the aux cable, connect the cable from the Speaki to your device. The LED indicator light will change to a solid red. Speaki will play the audio when you press 'play' on your device.

Please note: Using 3.5mm aux input will override a Bluetooth source input.

Connecting via Bluetooth

1. Press the power button for approximately two seconds. The LED indicator light will flash blue and red to indicate Speaki is ready for pairing.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone/music device.
3. 'Speaki' will appear on your mobile phone/music device. Select ‘Speaki’ to pair.
4. Once your mobile phone/music device is connected to the Speaki speaker, the LED indicator light will change to a solid blue, and the speaker will announce "Bluetooth connected".
5. Enjoy your music.

*Speaki will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode when turned on for the first time. To reset Bluetooth pairing, hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to forget all devices and initiate Bluetooth pairing mode again.

**If you are not familiar with Bluetooth pairing for your mobile phone or music device, refer to the user guide for your mobile phone/music device for instructions to pair a new device using Bluetooth.

***Speaki will always store the last device paired and if the device is within Bluetooth range, Speaki will automatically connect to the device.

Operating Controls

Charging Your Speaki

1. Remove the port cover on the back of the speaker, and connect the speaker via the USB-C port to the USB-A power source, using the included charging cable.
2. The LED battery indicator will flash from one to four LEDs to indicate Speaki is charging. The lights will stop flashing once Speaki is fully charged. A full charge will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on the speed of the charger. Once charged, remove the charge cable and replace the port cover.

Please note: Speaki will announce “low battery” when the battery level reaches approximately 10%.

LED Battery Indicator

• 4 white lights on: Battery 76-100%
• 3 white lights on: Battery 51-75%
• 2 white lights on: Battery 26-50%
• 1 white light on: Battery 0-25%

• Flashing blue/red - Bluetooth pairing mode
• Solid blue - Bluetooth connected
• Solid red - 3.5mm aux connected

Power Button

• 2 second long press - power on/power off
• 4 second long press - power on + Bluetooth pairing

Play Button

• 1 press - play/pause/answer call/end call
• 2 second long press - reject call
• 2 presses - Siri/Google

Volume Up Button

• 1 press - volume up
• 2 second long press - next track

Volume Down Button

• 1 press - volume down
• 2 second long press - restart track
• 2 second long press x2 - previous track

UNISYNC™ Button

• 1 press - cycle through UNISYNC functions (UNISYNC mode/UNISYNC audio/UNISYNC disabled)
• 2 second long press - disconnects Bluetooth (device remains paired to Speaki)
• 6 second long press - resets UNISYNC and Bluetooth connection (device will need to be re-paired)

Connecting Multiple Speakers via UNISYNC™

Using the UNISYNC feature you can connect up to 50 UNISYNC compatible speakers. In this example, your Speaki is your primary device.

To connect a replica, short press the UNISYNC button on your primary speaker once to enter UNISYNC mode. Once the primary announces it is in UNISYNC mode, repeat on the replica. After the replica announces it is in UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button on the replica device once more – the replica will announce it is using UNISYNC audio.

The primary speaker will show a solid blue light while replicas will show a flashing red and blue light.

To exit UNISYNC mode, press the UNISYNC button until you hear UNISYNC disabled.*

Press and hold the UNISYNC button for 6 seconds to reset the UNISYNC function.**

*If UNISYNC is disabled, Speaki will disconnect from but remember the replicas connected to it.

**Resetting UNISYNC will enable Speaki to ‘forget' all replica devices and Bluetooth connections.

Multipoint Connection

Multipoint is a feature that allows Speaki to connect to two Bluetooth devices at once. This means that you can listen to music from one device, whilst still hearing notifications and receiving calls from another device.

To set up Multipoint:

1. Connect your first Bluetooth device.
2. Hold down the UNISYNC button for 2 seconds to disconnect Bluetooth.
3. Connect your second Bluetooth device.
4. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn off Speaki.
5. Hold down the power button for 2 seconds and turn on Speaki.

Speaki will announce “Bluetooth connected” twice. Speaki will play audio from the last device it receives a command from, but it will treat the device with calls and notifications as priority.

Important Safety Info

1. Do not attempt to charge Speaki when it is wet or you suspect water has seeped into the device. Thoroughly dry Speaki and make sure all connections are dry before attempting to remove the port cover. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock, fire or electrical damage to Speaki and may void the warranty.
2. Do not use Speaki near an open fire, heat source or excessive heat.
3. Do not disassemble this device or attempt to modify in any manner.
4. Sound levels should be appropriate to your environment and comply with all local regulations.
5. Ensure that you can hear and are aware of any potential hazards around you when you are enjoying your Speaki speaker.

All Sprout products go through thorough quality assurance inspections. If you find that your device is excessively hot, is emitting odour, is deformed, abraded, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all product use and contact Sprout.

Consumer Guarantee

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Your Sprout Speaki Bluetooth Speaker is warranted to the original owner for 24 months from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service.

The warranty does not cover misuse of this product and liability will not exceed the purchase price of the product.
