Product Overview

The Televes EuroSwitch is a compact and Quad-compatible multiswitch with 5 inputs (one terrestrial and four satellite polarities) and 8 user outputs. Its compact design and optimized electronic circuitry result in very low losses in both derivation and passage. This allows for a reduction in the number of amplifiers on a cascade or trunk, providing a more balanced signal among users, even in large collective installations.

With a simple switch, it can be used as a terminal product (star topology) or as a cascadable unit. It also features a second switch that activates the TForce system on the outputs, enabling automatic adjustment and stable terrestrial signal reception despite variations. The product is RED compliant.

Installation Examples

Installation in a single-family home (1 satellite)

The LNB and multiswitch are powered by the decoder's user output by activating the "RECEIVER POWER" switch. No external power supply is required.

Diagram shows a setup with DTT and SAT 1 inputs connected to the multiswitch. The multiswitch is connected to a TV and STB. Switches on the multiswitch are set to: TERR. DC = OFF, RECEIVER POWER = ON, TERR. AMP. (T.Force) = PASSIVE, AUTOLOAD = TERMINAL. A DC flow from the STB is indicated.

Installation in a small collective dwelling (1 satellite)

The LNB, terrestrial antenna, and the entire cascade of multiswitches are powered by a single 3A power supply. With the "RECEIVER POWER" function deactivated, the decoders are isolated from the cascade in direct current and protected against overcurrents.
