Televes EuroSwitch 9-Input 12-Output Multiswitch
Compact and efficient for large installations.
Product Overview
The Televes EuroSwitch is a compact multiswitch designed for large collective installations. It features 9 inputs (1 terrestrial and 8 for the four polarities of two satellites) and 12 user outputs. Its optimized electronic design ensures very low losses in both branching and passage, allowing for a more balanced signal distribution among users, even in extensive collective systems. A simple switch allows it to be used as a terminal product (star topology) or cascadable. It also includes a second switch to activate the TForce system on the outputs, providing automatic adjustment and stable terrestrial signal reception despite variations.
The device is RED compliant.
Key Features
- Very compact in size and weight, suitable for large user installations.
- Very low branching and passage losses.
- High shielding (Class A), manufactured in Zamak.
- Versatile: switchable between cascadable and terminal modes.
- High isolation between inputs and outputs.
- Integrated TForce technology for automatic optimal terrestrial output level adjustment (TERR. AMP. ACTIVE).
- Low Gain (LG) / High Gain (HG) 10dB switch to manage satellite input signal for each group of 8 users.
- Dual power modes: mains power or remote power via main lines/cascade.
- Low power consumption under normal conditions, with an ECO mode to reduce consumption as the number of connected users decreases.
- Wide power supply range (12-18 V), compatible with most installations.
- Power supply between all inputs and passage outputs.
- Input and passage output identification by color coding.
- 100% European design, quality, and manufacturing.

Application Example: Medium-Sized Hotel (2 Satellites)
In this scenario, the LNBs, terrestrial antenna, and the entire cascade are powered by a single 3A power supply unit. If an amplifier is used, it is recommended to place the power supply unit at the amplifier's location.
The diagram illustrates the connection of multiple multiswitches (MSW 9x9x16) to receive terrestrial (DTT), SAT 1, and SAT 2 signals. Each multiswitch distributes these signals to multiple Set-Top Boxes (STB) and Televisions (TV). The diagram also indicates the power supply connections and the status of the TForce amplifier and AUTOLOAD settings (CASCADE or TERMINAL).
Diagram Description:
The diagram shows a central power supply unit (PSU) providing DC power. This power flows to multiple Televes multiswitch units (MSW 9x9x16). Each multiswitch connects to a terrestrial antenna (DTT) and two satellite inputs (SAT 1, SAT 2). The outputs of the multiswitches are connected to various devices, including Set-Top Boxes (STB) and Televisions (TV). The diagram specifies settings like TERR. AMP. (T.Force) = ACTIVE, AUTOLOAD = CASCADE/TERMINAL, and TERR. DC = ON, indicating the operational modes and configurations for optimal signal distribution and power management.
