Using the Tripod

A. Quick Locking/Releasing Legs System

To extend or retract the tripod legs:

  1. Turn the leg lock (5) clockwise approximately half a turn to extend or shorten the legs [1].
  2. Tighten the leg lock (5) by turning it counterclockwise after adjusting the leg length [2].

B. Tripod with Short Center Column

To use the tripod with a short center column:

  1. Turn the hook (7) counterclockwise to remove it. Loosen the central column lock (2) and remove the central column (6).
  2. Insert the short central column (14) into the central column housing and tighten the central column lock (2).
  3. Set the tripod legs to their widest angle and screw the mounting plate (1) onto the short central column.

C. Upside-Down Central Column for Macro Angle Shooting

The central column can be inverted to facilitate macro photography, allowing for lower shooting angles.

D. Converting the 3/8" Screw to a 1/4" Screw

To change the mounting screw size:

  1. Turn the mounting plate (1) for the tripod head counterclockwise and remove the tripod screw from the plate.
  2. Flip the 3/8"-1/4" mounting screw (8) and reinsert it into the mounting plate. Rotate the mounting plate (1) clockwise to secure it.

E. Attaching the Ball Head

To mount the ball head onto the tripod:

  1. Ensure the panning base is locked by tightening the panning knob.
  2. Screw the ball head onto the tripod using the 3/8" screw thread on the bottom of the head. If your tripod has a 1/4" screw, use an adapter (not included).
  3. Use the small screw on the tripod plate to firmly secure the ball head, preventing accidental detachment.

F. Camera Attachment

To attach your camera:

  1. Attach the quick release plate to the underside of your camera.
  2. Open the clamp lock by turning it counterclockwise.
  3. Insert the quick release plate [a] by first placing one side into the groove and then pressing the other side down.
  4. If the plate is correctly positioned, tighten the clamp lock again [b].

G. Main Fixation

After setting the desired angle for your camera, tighten the main fixation clockwise to secure the position.

H. Fine Adjustment

Turn the fine adjustment clockwise. This allows for precise adjustments while the ball head remains partially fixed.

To completely lock the ball head, tighten both adjustment screws.

I. Panorama Axis

To pan your camera:

  1. Loosen the swivel lock and turn the head counterclockwise or clockwise to the desired position.
  2. Fix the position by turning the swivel lock clockwise.

J. Changing Rubber Feet to Spikes

To switch between rubber feet and spikes:

  1. Turn the rubber feet clockwise to loosen them [1].
  2. Screw the spikes (11) into the tripod leg plates using the appropriate hex wrench [2].
