Important Safety Information
- ⚠️ Always remove batteries before storing the product.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire must be replaced.
- ⚠️ Only use a safety transformer with a SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) output as a power supply for this product.
- This product is not intended for children due to its electrical components. IKEA recommends that only adults handle recharging.
- Regularly examine the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts for damage. Do not use the product if any part is damaged.
- Connect only to SELV power sources.
Battery Information
- Use only batteries that are intended for this product.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
- Batteries are sold separately. IKEA recommends the LADDA rechargeable battery 2450 mAh HR6 AA 1.2V.
Installation
The KÖLVATTEN LED light can be installed in cabinets or drawers.
Required components: 2x Mounting caps, 2x Screws.
Steps:
- Attach the mounting caps to the desired surface.
- Align the light fixture with the mounting caps and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Press and hold the light fixture for approximately 10 seconds.
- Release the light fixture.
- Secure the fixture using the provided screws (2x).
- Ensure the light fixture is securely attached.
⚠️ Ensure the sensor is not obstructed for proper operation.
Accessories
USB-C cable and USB charger are sold separately.
Operation Modes
The light has three modes:
- OFF: The light is turned off.
- ON: The light is always on.
- AUTO: The light turns on when motion is detected and turns off automatically after approximately 1 minute of inactivity.
LED Indicator Status
- White LED pulsing: Charging in progress.
- White LED steady on: Charging complete.
- White LED flashing: Error. This may occur if batteries are inserted incorrectly, or if non-rechargeable or damaged batteries are used.
