System Overview

This document outlines the application of the RC5-HST™ system with the HuddleCamHD SimplTrack Lite camera. The system facilitates Power, Control, and Video transmission over a single CAT cable.

Components and Connections

The diagram illustrates the connection between the HuddleCamHD SimplTrack Lite camera and the RC5-HETM Head End unit, along with associated devices.

HuddleCamHD SimplTrack Lite Camera Setup

The HuddleCamHD SimplTrack Lite camera connects to the RC5-CETM Camera End unit via:

RCC-C001-0.3M: HDMI to HDMI Video Cable (Orange cable)
RCC-C016-1.0M: RJ45 to RJ45 Control Cable (Green cable)
PPC-022-0.3M: DC Power Cable (Red cable)

The RC5-CETM unit is the 'Camera End' of the SCTLink™ Digital Single Cable Link.

RC5-HETM Head End Setup

The RC5-HETM Head End unit connects to:

HDMI/DVI Device: Via RCC-H001-1.0M HDMI to HDMI Video Cable (Orange cable)
3rd Party UTP Control Device: Via RCC-C002-0.3M RJ45 to RJ45 Control Cable (Green cable)

The RC5-HETM unit is the 'Head End' of the SCTLink™ Digital Single Cable Link.

Power for the RC5-HETM is supplied by the WPS-12 30VDC Power Supply (100-240V 47-63Hz).

SCTLink™ Cable Requirements

The SCTLink™ cable must be a single, point-to-point CAT cable with no couplers or interconnections.

SCTLink™ Cable Specs: Integrator-Supplied CAT5e/CAT6 STP/UTP Cable, T568A or T568B wiring standard. Recommended length: 10m - 100m.
