Marantz HD-AMP1 Integrated Amplifier with DAC-Mode

Product information from Marantz

Introduction

Marantz amplifies its dedication to pure musical performance with the rebirth of the MusicLink Series. The aim is simple: to bring the listener all the emotion and musical detail of the original sound studio, combined with an elegant appearance and luxuriant feel. The creator of the delightful new MusicLink Series is Ken Ishiwata.

The Marantz HD-AMP1 is a Premium-Class compact amplifier, boasting superb, elegant, classic looks. Its current feedback technology delivers an ear-splitting 70W at 4ohms. The dual crystal clock and discrete DAC post filter with Marantz HDAM-SA2 modules elevate standard sound to feel as incredible as high-resolution audio. This amplifier features the unique Marantz Musical Digital Filtering (MMDF), offering two selectable filter characteristics to cater for different tastes and music, handling even the minutest detail within the digital audio signal.

Designed for modern media, the HD-AMP1 handles signals up to 384kHz/32bit resolution and DSD 2.8MHz / 5.6MHz / 11.2MHz. It includes optical and coaxial digital inputs for connecting to a TV or set-top box, and a USB-B port for streaming music directly from a PC or MAC. iDevices can also be connected via the front USB port. To safeguard quality when connected to a computer, an extended isolation is built around the USB-B input to eliminate high frequency noise generated by the computer. Information on volume, input, resolution, and more is shown on the stylish Marantz Porthole Display. The solid aluminium front is supported by a double layer bottom plate and retro-style side panels.

Welcome to the world of compact ecstasy.
