This document is an installation guide for the SALTO XS4 Original+ electronic lock, focusing on the process of selecting the correct handing for the door. The guide is presented in English, with multilingual support for key terms.

The following languages are supported for key terms: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

Step 1: Initial Setup and Key Override

Begin the installation by preparing the lock mechanism. The "Key Override" feature allows for manual operation, and the selection process is initiated here. Follow the indicated steps for the correct procedure.

Step 2: Wiring and Important Warnings

Connect the necessary wiring to the lock mechanism. A critical warning ⚠️ is displayed: "DO NOT DISCONNECT!". This emphasizes the importance of maintaining the electrical connection throughout the installation and operation.

Step 3: Handle Orientation (Handing Selection)

This step focuses on selecting the correct orientation for the lock's handle based on the door's handing (left or right). Orange arrows guide the user on how to rotate the handle mechanism to achieve the desired configuration.

Step 4: Continued Mechanical Assembly

Continue the assembly process by inserting and tightening screws to firmly attach the lock components. The orange arrows provide guidance on the direction for screw insertion and tightening.

Step 5: Final Securing of Components

Complete the installation by securely fastening all remaining parts of the lock mechanism. Orange arrows indicate the correct placement and tightening direction for the final screws.
