- ⚠️ Install and test the lock with the door open to avoid being locked out.
- ❌ DO NOT install the batteries before installing the lock!

1. Product Overview

Keypad Fingerprint Reader: Used to verify your finger and unlock from outside.
Micro USB: ? Micro USB. Used to connect a power bank to activate the lock when the battery runs out. (It cannot charge the lock's battery).
Keyhole: ? Keyhole. Used to insert a key to unlock in emergency situations.
Knob: ? Knob. Used to lock and unlock the door from inside.

3. Introduction

3.3. Electronic Locking Button
If you want to use the Electronic Locking function, first enable "privacy lock" in the app. When the button is in the ? Red state, it is ? Locked. In this state, it can only be unlocked via the administrator app or a mechanical key.
4. Installation
4.1. Adjust the Handles Direction
Notice: Adjust the handle according to the direction you open the door.
For Exterior Assembly:
- Loosen the screw ?.
- Adjust the door handle.
- Tighten the screws ? after adjusting the handle direction.
For Interior Assembly:
- Loosen the screw ?.
- Adjust the door handle.
- Tighten the screws ? after adjusting the handle direction and complete ✔️.
4.2. Installation Diagram (For 5572)
Step 1: Install Mortise
Install the mortise into the door using Screw C ? and fix it.
Step 2: Install Exterior Assembly
- Install the waterproof rubber plate to the exterior assembly.
- Install the square shaft into the spindle hub.
- Install the exterior assembly with screw casings ?.
- Install the exterior assembly.
Step 3: Install Interior Assembly
- Install the waterproof rubber plate to the interior assembly and loosen the Battery cover screws ?.
- Connect the wire ?.
- Secure the Mounting plate with Screw D ? and Screw E ?.
Step 4: Install Batteries
- Insert 4 AA alkaline batteries ?.
- Install the battery cover.
- Installation Complete ✔️.
5. System Initialization
Open the cover plate of the front panel, long press the "? Reset" button on the back panel for 5 seconds, then press "000#". Initialization is complete.
6. Operation
6.1. Registration
The TTLock app (iOS version) can be downloaded from the App Store ?, and the Android version from Google Play ▶️. Register a new account (phone number or email) or log in with an existing account.
6.2. Connect lock to the phone
- Scan the QR code ? to download the app, or search for "TTLock" in the App Store ? or Google Play ▶️.
- Register a new account (phone number or email) ✍️ or log in with an existing account ?.
- Touch the lock screen ? to light it up, then click ➕ "Add Lock".
- The nearby lock will appear on the phone screen. Click ➕.
- Rename the lock ✏️.
- The lock is added successfully ✅.
TTLock users can register accounts using mobile numbers and emails, currently supporting 200 countries and regions worldwide. A verification code will be sent to the user's mobile phone or email, and registration is successful after verification.
6.3. Add locks
TTLock supports multiple lock device types. A lock must be added by the app after entering add mode. Generally, a lock that has not been added will enter add mode when the lock keyboard is touched. The default password is 123456 if not added by the phone.
6.4. User Management
6.4.1. Bluetooth Management
Ensure Bluetooth communication is stable. After connecting the phone to the door lock, click "?" to unlock (the phone must be within 5 meters of the door lock).
6.4.2. Setting Passcode
Passcodes are another unlocking method. After entering the passcode on the lock keyboard, press the unlock button in the lower right corner to unlock. Passcodes can be permanent, timed, one-time, custom, recurring, or erased. You can share passcodes via SMS, Email, Messenger, or WhatsApp.
6.4.3. Send e-Key
Click the "✉️" icon. You can send an e-Key to other TTLock users to authorize unlocking (the receiver must download the app and set up an account). Select the e-Key format (Timed, permanent, One-time, Recurring). Enter the recipient's TTLock account, set the name and effective time of the e-Key. You can choose to allow or disallow remote unlocking, and authorize as an administrator or not. The recipient's account will have Bluetooth unlock permission.
6.4.4. Add fingerprint
A fingerprint must be added first to be used for unlocking. The adding process requires the app to be near the lock. Fingerprint expiration data can be set as permanent, timed, or recurring. After setting, you can modify its validity period.
6.4.5. e-Key Management
Click the "✉️" icon. Managers can delete e-keys, reset e-keys, send, and adjust e-keys. They can also search lock records.
6.4.6. Passcode Management
Click the "?" icon. All generated passwords can be viewed and managed in the password management module. This includes password changes, deletions, resets, and unlock records.
6.4.7. Unlock Records
Click the "?" icon to query your unlock records.
6.5. Gateway Management (Optional)
The TT lock connects directly via Bluetooth, making it network-independent. The gateway acts as a bridge between smart locks and home Wi-Fi networks. Through the gateway, users can remotely view and calibrate the lock clock, read unlock records, and remotely delete or modify passwords.
6.5.1. Add Gateway
Follow the app instructions to add a gateway.
6.5.2. Manual Binding
After a short period, the app will show which locks are within the gateway's coverage. Once a lock is bound to the gateway, it can be managed through the gateway.
7. Reset the Lock
⚠️ Please note: All data will be erased if you reset your lock to factory defaults.
8. Replace Batteries
Please use 4 high-quality alkaline AA batteries ? for replacement when the battery is low.
9. 5V Emergency Power
The ? Micro USB interface is used to connect a regular 5V power bank to activate the lock in case the battery is dead ⚡. Note: The Micro USB interface is only for emergency unlocking and cannot be used for battery charging.
10. Emergency Key Unlock
The ? emergency key can be used when the battery is dead ⚡. Note: Keep at least one key outside your house so you can use it to unlock in case of emergency.
11. Anti-peep Keypad
The lock supports up to 16-digit Vague Code. Enter any 16-digit code; as long as a correct code is included within your input, you can open the door. ?️
12. Unlock From Outside
- Fingerprint: ? Place your finger on the fingerprint reader to unlock.
- User Code: ? Enter a 6-9 digit code and press to unlock. You would have set this unlock password in the app.
- Card: ? Swipe your card on the keypad of the lock to unlock.
- Mechanical key: ? Insert the key into the lock cylinder hole and rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Smartphone: ? Use your smartphone to unlock. Please refer to the guide in the TTLock App.
13. FAQ
- 1) How to read operation records?
- In the "Records" section on the main interface. ?
- 2) Why can't I unlock it after opening passage mode?
- You need to perform an unlock verification using any method; then, the passage mode will take effect.
- 3) What is the purpose of Auto Lock?
- You can set how long the lock remains unlocked after unlocking before it automatically locks again.
- 4) After installation, the touch sensing keyboard/screen has no response.
- a) Check if the positive and negative electrodes of the battery are installed upside down, or if the battery has enough power ?.
b) Remove the back panel and check if the wires ? are connected properly.
c) To eliminate other issues, remove the lock and check if the wires of the lock body are squeezed. Re-wire if necessary. - 5) Unable to register fingerprint.
- Check fingers for dirt or wear. Check the fingerprint head on the lock for dirt and oil stains. Ensure the fingerprint sensor is working properly (press it to see if there is any response).
- 6) What is the reason why the smart lock consumes power quickly?
- a) High standby power consumption.
b) Short circuit. - 7) There is no response when pressing the handle on the outside of the door, but it unlocks normally from the inside, and the verification is normal, and the motor is normal.
- It may be that the triangle direction on the clutch is incorrect. Please check and correct it.
- 8) How many times will the password be locked? How long is it locked?
- Enter the wrong password more than 5 times in a row; the keyboard will be locked for 90 seconds.
