Battery Charging
The device has a built-in rechargeable battery. Use a USB adapter and connect it to the DC-in (6). The indicator LED (5) lights up red during charging and turns off when fully charged. Charging time is 2-4 hours with a 5V 2A adapter. The device can operate without the charging cable using the internal battery. Battery life depends on usage; heavy, loud, bass music consumes more energy than spoken word.
Bluetooth Connection
- Turn ON the speaker.
- Use the [MODE] button (10) to select Bluetooth mode. The LED indicator (5) will flash blue rapidly.
- Set your Bluetooth device to 'Search' via its Bluetooth menu.
- Select "HPG240BT_CAL" from the list. Confirm pairing with the access key "0000" if necessary.
- When paired successfully, you will hear a sound and the LED will flash slowly. You can start playing music. If your device supports AVRCP, you can use the speaker's buttons to control playback.
- Long press the [MODE] (10) button to disconnect the Bluetooth connection.
Playing from USB-stick or Micro SD card
- Turn the speaker ON.
- Insert a USB stick into port (2) or a Micro-SD card into slot (9). Stored music will play automatically.
- While playing, press [-] or [+] (8/12) to select the previous or next song.
Note: If a USB/SD is inserted in Bluetooth or AUX input mode, playback starts automatically. To return to the previous mode, press the [MODE] button.
AUX-IN
You can connect an external device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX-in (7) using a jack-to-jack cable (included). When an external device is connected, the device automatically switches to Aux-in mode. Start playing music on your external device.
Note: Playback controls on this unit do not function in this mode, and you cannot enter Bluetooth mode using the [Mode] button.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo)
- Turn on two identical speakers you wish to pair. Ensure they have the same BT pairing name. You only need to set up one of the two devices.
- Long press the [TWS] button (9) on one of the speakers. This speaker will emit a tone to start pairing and three tones when successfully paired.
- Establish a Bluetooth connection with your mobile phone to play music through the two paired speakers for a more powerful stereo sound.
- To exit TWS mode, long press the [TWS] button (9) again.
Notes:
- Users must first establish a TWS connection, then a Bluetooth connection with the mobile phone.
- In TWS mode with Bluetooth connected, long-pressing the TWS button will disconnect both TWS and Bluetooth connections.
- In TWS mode, if your mobile phone is connected via the provided audio cable, it will play AUX via TWS. In this status, you cannot switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the Mode button.
