1. Notes On Installation
The unit is designed for 12V DC negative ground operation systems only. Ensure your vehicle is connected to a DC12V negative ground electrical system before installation.
Disconnect the negative battery terminal before making connections to prevent damage from short circuits.
Connect color-coded leads correctly as per the diagram. Incorrect connections may cause malfunction or damage to the vehicle's electrical system.
Connect speaker (-) leads to the speaker (-) terminal. Do not connect left and right channel speaker cables to each other or to the vehicle body.
Do not block vents or radiator panels, as this can cause heat buildup and potential fire hazards.
After installation and battery replacement, press the RESET button on the front panel with a pointed object (e.g., ball-point pen) to set the unit to its initial status.
2. Wiring Diagram
Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel features several connection ports:
- 1 SUB-OUT: Subwoofer output.
- 2 REAR-R-OUT: Rear right speaker output.
- 3 REAR-L-OUT: Rear left speaker output.
- 4 VIDEO-OUT: Video output.
- 5 AUX-AUDIO-R-IN: Auxiliary audio input right.
- 6 AUX-AUDIO-L-IN: Auxiliary audio input left.
- 7 FRONT-CAM-IN: Front camera input.
- 8 REAR-CAM-IN: Rear camera input.
- 9 AUX-VIDEO-IN: Auxiliary video input.
- 10 RADIO-Antenna: For radio antenna connection.
- 11 USB 5VDC 1.5A: USB port for charging (output only).
- 12 DAB: DAB antenna input.
- 13 MIC-IN: Microphone input.

3. Remote Control Description
The remote control allows operation of the unit from a distance.
Basic Operations
- Install a CR2025 lithium coin battery.
- Aim the remote control directly at the remote sensor on the unit.
- Do not expose the remote sensor to strong light (direct sunlight or artificial light).
WARNING: To prevent accidents and damage
- Only use a CR2025 or equivalent battery.
- Store batteries safely away from children.
- Do not charge, decompose, heat, or dispose of batteries in fire.
- Do not pierce batteries with sharp objects.
- Wrap batteries with tape for insulation when storing or disposing.
Button Functions
- Power switch: Turns the unit on/off.
- Mute: Mutes/unmutes audio.
- ▲ Up: Navigates up or increases value.
- Menu: Opens the main menu.
- Mode switch: Changes operating mode.
- Right: Navigates right.
- USB / SD: Selects USB or SD card source.
- Last song: Plays the previous track.
- Band / Automatic: Selects radio band or initiates auto-search.
- Volume +: Increases volume.
- Left: Navigates left.
- Confirm / Play / Pause: Confirms selection or controls media playback.
- Next song: Plays the next track.
- Under the: (Function not explicitly detailed, likely context-dependent).
- Volume -: Decreases volume.
- Choice: Makes a selection.
- Answer the phone: Answers an incoming call.
- Hang up: Ends a call.
- Digital key: Numeric keypad (0-9, *, #).
4. Basic Operation
Turn on/off the Host Unit
Turn on: The unit turns on automatically when the car key is inserted if it was turned off by the key. If it was turned off by the power button, press the power button again to turn it on.
Turn off: The unit turns off automatically when the car key is pulled out. Alternatively, press and hold the PWR (power) button for more than 3 seconds to turn it off.
Enter System Main Interface
After startup, the system defaults to the mode it was in before power-off. To access the main interface:
- From any mode interface (e.g., radio), touch the [home icon] ? at the top right corner.
- Press the MENU button on the panel as a shortcut.
The main interface displays function mode icons. Touch an icon to enter its corresponding operating mode.
Touch the [screen off icon] ? to turn off the screen display. Touching the screen again will restore the display.
Touch the [wallpaper icon] ?️ to switch between twelve different background images preset by the system.
5. Introduction to Main Interface Function Icons
- Radio icon: Enter radio mode to listen to FM/AM broadcasts.
- Setup icon: Enter the system setup interface.
- Bluetooth icon: Enter the Bluetooth interface to connect a mobile phone for hands-free calls.
- USB icon: Enter USB play mode when a USB device is connected.
- AUX icon: Enter AUX play mode for external audio/video signals.
- DAB icon: Enter DAB radio mode.
- SD icon: Enter SD card play mode when a multimedia card is inserted.
- EQ icon: Select preset Equalizer modes (JAZZ/ROCK/POP/CLASSIC).
- Wallpaper icon: Change the background image of the system interface.
- Playback controls icons: [Previous song icon] ⏮️, [Play/Pause icon] ▶️/⏸️, [Next song icon] ⏭️. These icons function for radio tuning and media playback.
- Date/Time display: Shows the current date and time.
6. Radio Function Operation
Enter/Exit Radio Mode
- From the system main interface, touch the [radio icon] ? to enter radio mode.
- From the radio interface, touch the [home icon] ? at the top right corner to return to the system main interface. Touch other function icons to exit radio mode.
Automatic Search Stations
In radio mode, press and hold the [search icon] ? to activate Auto-search. The system automatically saves found channels. Press the icon again to stop searching.
- Before searching, touch the [LOC icon] ? to select long or short distance searching. "LOC" displayed means only local stations with strong signals are searched; hidden "LOC" allows synchronous searching of both long and short distance stations.
- FM wave bands can store 18 stations (FM1/2/3), and AM wave bands can store 12 stations (AM1/2).
Semi-automatic Station Search and Saving
In the radio interface, press and hold the [search icon] ? (minimum 2 seconds) to enter semi-automatic search mode (low/high frequency bands). When a station is reached, it locks. Press and hold any frequency icon below to save the station. Touch the [tune icon] ?️ to step forward by 0.05 MHz (FM) or 9 KHz (AM).
Wave Band Selection
In the radio interface, touch the [BAND icon] ? to cycle through wave bands: FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, and AM2.
Select Station to Play
- Touch a frequency icon (e.g., 88.85 MHz) to select and listen to that radio station.
- When listening to FM, touch the [ST icon] ? to select stereo or single track broadcasting.
- Touch the [tuner icon] ?️ to enter the audio setting interface.
- Stereo function is invalid for AM wave bands.
- LOC function setup is invalid for AM wave bands.
- During station searching, the panel TUNE button can be used for steady frequency adjustment.
- If a frequency icon is touched for over 3 seconds during station selection, the system will only perform the saving function.
- Touch the [preview icon] ? to enter each radio station for 5 seconds in a browsing state. Touch it again to resume normal broadcasting.
7. USB Function Operation
The unit supports USB devices. Ensure the USB is correctly connected before use; the system will automatically switch to USB play mode.
Insert/Eject USB Device
- Insert the U disk with multimedia folders into the USB interface via data lines or directly.
- Exit the USB play mode before ejecting the U disk.
Play Interface Operation
- Touch the [USB icon] ? from the system main interface to enter the USB play interface.
- The system first reads supported media files. If multiple file types exist, it will prioritize music playback.
- When playing music, the music player interface is displayed, showing ID3 tag information and playback status. Use touch icons for playback controls.
- Touch the [list icon] ? to return to the playing list. The left side shows the file list, and the right side shows the current file.
- Touch the [page up/down icons] ⬆️⬇️ to navigate lists. Touch a file name to play it.
- For detailed instructions on various media file types, refer to the "DVD function operation" section (if applicable).
- To exit USB player, touch the [home icon] ? to return to the system main interface and select another audio/video player.
8. SD Card Function Operation
This function is available when the main unit is equipped with a multimedia storage card slot.
Insert/Take Out SD Card
- Insert the SD card with media information into the SD card slot until it locks.
- To remove the SD card, exit SD card playing status first, then press the card slightly to unlock and eject it.
Enter to SD Card Playing Mode
- From the system main interface, touch the [SD icon] ? to enter the SD card play interface.
- The system reads supported media documents on the card. If multiple types are present, it prioritizes music playback.
- In playing state, touch the [list icon] ? to return to the list interface.
- Touch the [type icon] to switch between displaying files of different types. Touch a file name to start playing.
- To exit SD play mode, touch the [home icon] ? to return to the system main interface and enter another play mode.
- Due to screen resolution limits and video file format compatibility, some video files may not play correctly. Transfer files in formats compatible with the equipment.
- If the storage card type does not match the slot, or if there is no SD card slot, connect via a card reader and USB cable to the unit's USB port.
9. AUX Function Operation
The machine supports external video signals and two-way stereo audio signals. Connect to the audio and video input port when using other multimedia equipment.
Enter/Exit AUX Mode
- From the system main interface, touch the [AUX icon] ? to enter AUX (external audio/video) mode.
- Touch the top right corner of the screen to display operation icons, then touch the [home icon] ? to return to the system main interface. Touch other function icons to exit AUX mode.
Function Operation
- In playing status, touch the screen to display operational icons.
- Touch the [screen off icon] ? to turn off screen display; touch the screen again to restore it.
- Touch the [home icon] ? to exit AUX mode and return to the system main interface.
10. Mirror Link Description
Notes
- Supports Android two-way control (up to Android 10) and iOS (iOS 13 version and latest, Model under iPhone X).
- The connection requires the phone's screen to be unlocked.
- Android phone's Bluetooth must be connected for sound output.
Connecting Way
- Connect the phone data cable.
- Open the phone's developer options and enable USB debugging.
- The system will automatically enter the Mirror Link interface. Download the required app according to prompts.
Corresponding to the Role of the Icon
- [Exit icon]: Exit the mirror link.
- [Volume icon]: Volume adjustment.
- [Home icon] ?: Return to the mobile home page (iOS not supported).
- [Back icon] ↩️: Return to the previous operation (iOS not supported).
- [Screen saver icon]: Screen saver.
- [Horizontal screen icon]: Horizontal screen (iOS not supported).
11. Bluetooth Function Operation
The system provides Bluetooth hands-free communication, telephone dial-up, call answering, phonebook access, and Bluetooth music playback functions. The Bluetooth name is "CAR-BT".
Enter/Exit Bluetooth Interface
- From the system main interface, touch the [Bluetooth icon] ? to enter the Bluetooth interface.
- Touch the [back icon] ↩️ to exit the Bluetooth interface.
Touch Menu Function Description
- Dial and answer: Enter the dial-up interface.
- Hang up or reject incoming call: Hang up or reject an incoming call.
- Enter phonebook: Access the phonebook.
- Enter Bluetooth music play interface: Play music via Bluetooth.
- Download mobile contacts: Download contacts from the phone.
- Switch over talk to mobile phone or car amplifier: Switch audio output between the phone and the car's amplifier.
- Shut off or resume the sound: Mute or unmute the audio.
- Display the answered phone number record: View answered call history.
- Display the missed phone number record: View missed call history.
- Display the dialed phone number record: View dialed call history.
- Delete the wrong number entered: Correct input errors in the dialer.
Paired Connection and Disconnecting Connection
Before using Bluetooth, a paired connection with a mobile phone is required.
- Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone.
- Search for the device named "CAR-BT" and connect.
- Enter the password "0000" if prompted during the connection process and confirm.
- Once connected, "Connected" will be displayed on the system screen.
Dial a Call
- Touch the numeric keys on the screen to enter a telephone number.
- Touch the [delete icon] ?️ to delete characters one by one if entering incorrectly.
- When the number is complete, touch the green speaker icon [call icon] ? to dial.
- During a call, touch the [switch icon] to switch the audio between the car sound system and the mobile phone.
Answer a Call
- When a call is received while Bluetooth is connected, the system automatically switches to the Bluetooth interface and plays a ringtone. The phone number will be displayed.
- Touch the [answer icon] ✅ or [reject icon] ❌ to answer or refuse the call.
Telephone Book
- Touch the [phonebook icon] ? to enter the phonebook.
- Touch the [download icon] ⬇️ to download stored phone numbers to the directory. Slide up and down to navigate the list.
- To make a call, touch and select a number from the list, then touch the [call icon] ?.
- Use the small keyboard for quick search by initial word.
12. DAB+ Instructions
Installation of DAB Antenna
For this operation, it is recommended to contact a professional installer.
- The supplied DAB antenna requires installation on the front windscreen in a vertical position.
- Clean the glass area where you intend to attach the antenna.
- Carefully remove the protective film from the antenna's adhesive and place it in the chosen location. Ensure the ground contact spreads onto the metal body of the car; removing paint is not necessary.
- Route the 3-meter cable inside the dashboard to reach the radio. Connect the golden connector to the DAB antenna input on the rear of the car radio and secure it by screwing.
- If a second thinner black cable is present, connect it to the main power supply (+12V key).
- Do not install the antenna in a position that obstructs the driver's view.
- Do not place the cable or antenna where they could interfere with the proper functioning of the AirBag or other safety devices, or impede vehicle driving.
- Using the antenna on shielded glass may reduce its performance.
RADIO DAB OPERATIONS
The display shows Radio name, Radio frequency, Radio content, Programme list, Previous station, Next station, Auto searching, and Program type.
13. System Setup
This section describes system setup information, including general settings, audio, date & time, wallpaper, and other options.
Enter/Exit Setup
- From the system main interface, touch the [System icon] ⚙️ to enter the system setting interface.
- Touch the [back icon] ↩️ to exit the setting interface and return to the system main interface.
General Settings
In the system setting interface, touch the [System icon] ⚙️ to enter the general settings interface.
- Language (Language selection): Set the system operating language. Touch the language item to select the desired language.
- Beep (Key-pressing tone): Enable this option to hear a click sound when operating buttons.
- Key Lights: Choose your desired color for the key lights.
- Reversing Mute (Mute when reversing vehicles): Enable this option to mute the system audio when reversing.
- Panel (Touch Panel Calibration):
- Brightness: Set screen brightness by sliding the icon.
- Touch panel calibration: Use a stylus to click the center points in the specified order (upper-left, upper-right, lower-left, lower-right, center) to calibrate the touch panel. The calibration is completed after the last point. Touch [exit icon] to finish. Accuracy of coordinates affects touch precision.
Radio Regional Settings
The default area is "Europe".
Logo Setting
- Touch the [Logo icon] to enter the logo setting interface. You may need to input the password "0000".
- Select favorite car flag pictures to set them as the startup logos for the system.
Wallpaper
Touch to select a different background image for the system.
System Time & Date Settings
- Year, month, and day setting: Use the [arrow icons] ⬆️⬇️ above and below the display box to adjust the year, month, and day.
- Hour, minute, and second adjustment: Use the [arrow icons] ⬆️⬇️ above and below the display box to adjust the hour and minute.
- Time system: Touch the [24-hour system icon] to set the time system as 12-hour or 24-hour.
- Touch the [save icon] to save and exit the time & date setting interface.

Audio Setting
- Sound Field Balance Settings: In the sound setting interface, touch the [sound field icon] to switch to sound field settings. Adjust the sound field balance by gently holding and sliding the icon (e.g., towards seat center, driver, or passenger).
- Bass: Slide the bass volume bar to adjust bass level.
- Treble: Slide the treble volume bar to adjust treble level.
- Loudness: When enabled, this option increases the volume for high and low frequencies at low overall volumes, balancing the loudness ratio for low, middle, and high frequencies.
- Surround Settings: Select a default surround effect from Concert, Wide, Church, Live, or Passive.
Video Settings
- Aspect Ratio Settings: The default value is 16:9. Other options include 4:3 PS (which may cut the left and right margins of wide screen video) and 4:3LB (which adds black borders to the top and bottom of wide screen video).
- Adjust Settings: Touch the [Adjust icon] to enter the video setting interface for display effect adjustments.
- Brightness: Adjusts picture brightness.
- Contrast: Adjusts picture contrast.
- Hue: Adjusts picture hue.
- Saturation: Adjusts picture saturation.
- Sharpness: Adjusts picture sharpness.
Default
- When choosing the [restore icon] ?, the host restores factory settings, shuts down, and restarts with system default settings.
- When choosing the [cancel icon] ?, the host cancels the restore operation.
