Remote Control
The unit comes with a remote control for convenient operation.
- 1. ⏻ (Standby): Turns the unit on/off.
- 2. MUTE: Mutes or unmutes audio.
- 3. MODE: Selects between Radio, USB/SD, AUX, Bluetooth.
- 4. ◀: Moves cursor left.
- 5. USB/SD: Switches to USB or SD input (if available).
- 6. ◀◀: Auto search / Previous track.
- 7. BAND AMS: Switches radio bands; press and hold for auto search.
- 8. VOL -: Decreases volume.
- 9. No. 0-9: Numeric buttons for direct input or selection.
- 10. MENU: Accesses the main menu.

Operations
Basic Operations
- Home Screen: Press the [HOME] button to access the main menu. Select modes like RADIO, USB, SD, Bluetooth, or AUX, or enter SETUP/EQ.
- Sound Control: Use the [VOL/SEL] knob to adjust volume. Access Audio Settings via the HOME button and EQ menu for equalizer and loudness adjustments.
- Day/Night Display: Tap the sun/moon icon on the screen to adjust brightness.
- Setup: Access the [SETUP] icon in the main menu to configure audio, date/time, language, and calibration.
Radio Operations
- Band: Press [BND] to select FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, or AM2. Up to 6 presets can be stored per band.
- DAB+: Press [DAB] to select an available DAB+ station.
- Radio Seek Function: In Radio Mode, press and hold the ◀ or ▶ buttons for automatic frequency seek, or tap them for manual step-by-step tuning.
- Save Preset Stations: Tune to a station, then press and hold one of the numbered preset buttons (e.g., 87.50, 98.00) until a beep is heard. The station is saved.
- RDS: Use the on-screen buttons for RDS functions (AF, TA, PTY). Note: RDS availability may vary by country.
DAB+ Operations
- Tap the SEARCH button to find all available DAB stations.
- A list of available DAB stations appears on the right side of the screen.
- Tap ◀ or ▶ to select the previous or next available DAB station.
- Tap BACK or HOME to return to the main interface.
- Antenna installation instructions are provided separately.
Bluetooth Operations
- Pairing: Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for devices. Select "RMD803DABBT_CAL" and use "0000" as the password. The connected device name will appear on screen upon successful connection.
- Dial Pad: Use the dial pad to enter a number and press the green [CALL] button to dial.
- Call List: Displays your phonebook if permission is granted. Use the 'refresh' button to load your phone's contacts.
- A2DP: Press the [MUSIC ♫] button to control music playback from your phone via on-screen controls.
- Incoming Calls: Use the green button to answer, or the red button to end/reject calls.
USB/SD Operations
- Plug in a USB or SD card. The unit will automatically play the content.
- Use on-screen buttons to control audio playback.
Mirror Link
- Connect your phone via USB data cable. Your phone will prompt you to download the correct app. Note: Some phones may have compatibility issues.

DAB Antenna Installation
Follow these steps to install the DAB antenna:
- Place the antenna on the windshield near the 'A' post.
- Remove the cover of the A-post.
- Stick the transparent part of the antenna onto the windshield and position the black part on the metal frame.
- Attach the antenna to the metal of the car frame. No paint removal is necessary.
- Power the DAB Antenna using the blue(/white) 12V Remote wire from the ISO Connector (3A). Ensure wires are stripped before connecting.
Safety Information

- Do not operate functions that distract from safe driving. Stop the vehicle in a safe place before using such functions.
- Keep volume at a level that allows you to hear outside noises. Excessive volume can mask emergency sirens or warning signals and cause accidents or hearing damage.

- Use only with 12V DC negative ground vehicles.
- Keep small objects like screws away from children.
- Use the correct fuse rating when replacing fuses.

- Use this product only for mobile 12V applications.
- Stop use immediately if a problem occurs to prevent injury or damage. Return to an authorized Caliber dealer for repair.
- Clean the product with a soft, dry cloth. Dampen with water only for stubborn stains.
- Ensure the vehicle temperature is between 0°C and +45°C before operating the unit.
- For maintenance, return the unit to an authorized Caliber dealer.
Disposal Information
Old appliances and batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Users are legally obliged to dispose of them separately at designated collection points.
