Tele2 Lottery Rules and Regulations

1. General Provisions

1.1. Service Provider: SIA “Tele2”, registration No. 40003272854, legal address: Dēļu iela 5, Rīga, Latvia, LV-1004 (hereinafter – Tele2).

1.2. Lottery Organizer: SIA "Visas Loterijas", registration No.: 4010340435, legal address: Pļavu iela 10, Baldone, Ķekavas nov., LV-2125, Latvia (hereinafter – Lottery Organizer).

1.3. Lottery Service: Becoming a user of Tele2 post-paid tariff or data plan.

1.4. Lottery Territory: The entire territory of the Republic of Latvia.

1.5. Lottery Period: From July 5, 2025, to October 3, 2025. Registration is open from July 5, 2025, to September 30, 2025.

1.6. Participants: Any individual who is or becomes a subscriber of a Tele2 or Zelta Zivtiņa post-paid tariff plan or data plan, or who joins Tele2 or Zelta Zivtiņa post-paid service from another operator during the lottery period and registers by sending a free SMS as specified in clause 1.7.

1.7. How to Participate: To participate, from July 5, 2025, 00:00 to September 30, 2025, 23:59, participants must be or become a user of a Tele2 or Zelta Zivtiņa post-paid tariff plan or data plan. Participants can register by sending a free SMS with the text TELE2BALVAS to number 1620. By sending the SMS, the participant confirms they have read and agree to the lottery rules.

1.8. Participant Expenses: Tele2 does not foresee any additional expenses for participants related to their participation in the lottery. However, individual circumstances may lead to expenses not dependent on Tele2.

2. Prize Fund

The lottery prize fund consists of 3 prizes:

Total Prize Fund Value (including VAT): 1576.33 EUR

3. Estimated Number of Participants

Approximately 5000 participants are expected. The probability of winning a prize is 3:5000.

4. Winner Determination

4.1. Winner Selection: Winners will be determined by random draw using the "Premium" computer program from all valid registrations that comply with the lottery rules.

4.2. Draw Details: One draw will be held, including all registered participants. The draw will take place at the Lottery Organizer's office at Dzirnavu iela 37-63, Rīga, LV-1010.

4.3. Reserve Winners: 5 reserve winners will be drawn in case the primary winner cannot prove their participation or their registration is invalid.

4.4. Reserve Winner Notification: Reserve winners will be recorded but not publicly announced.

5. Winner Notification

5.1. Announcement: Winners will be published on the website www.tele2.lv on October 3, 2025, by 23:59.

6. Prize Claiming

6.1. Prize Collection Location: Prize documents and collection will be organized at the Lottery Organizer's office at Dzirnavu iela 37-63, Rīga, Latvija, LV-1010. Prizes will be awarded in person.

6.2. Tele2 Contact: Tele2 will contact winners by phone using the number provided with their service subscription or by SMS.

6.3. Winner Verification: Winners can view the list of winners on www.tele2.lv after the draw results are published or contact the lottery organizers by calling 67686540.

6.4. Identification: To claim the prize, the winner must present a personal identification document (passport or ID card).

6.5. Disqualification: If a winner cannot present the required identification document, or if the information in the document does not match the registered participant's information, the prize will not be awarded, and the winner's rights will be annulled.

6.6. Claim Deadline: Prizes can be claimed until October 17, 2025. Prizes not claimed by this date will not be issued.

6.7. Unclaimed Prizes: If a winner does not claim their prize by October 17, 2025, they forfeit their status as a winner, and the prize will pass to Tele2 without compensation.

6.8. Prize Acceptance: Upon receiving the prize, the winner and the Lottery Organizer will sign a prize acceptance-transfer document. After signing, the winner cannot make claims against the Lottery Organizer regarding the prize.

6.9. Prize Exchange: Exchanging a won prize for another is not permitted.

6.10. Additional Expenses: Any additional expenses related to prize receipt, such as transportation or phone call costs, are not covered.

6.11. Unclaimed/Unissued Prizes: Prizes that are not issued or claimed according to these rules will not be re-drawn. The value of such prizes will not be compensated to the winner. The prize will become the property of Tele2, which can dispose of it at its discretion.

7. Claims and Their Review

7.1. Submitting Claims: All claims regarding the lottery organization or execution must be sent in writing to the Lottery Organizer (SIA "Visas Loterijas", Dzirnavu iela 37-63, Rīga, LV-1010) or by email to info@loterijas.lv by October 20, 2025, with the subject "Tele2 Lottery". Claims must include the basis and justification for the objection, along with supporting documents.

7.2. Claim Review Period: The Lottery Organizer reserves the right not to consider claims submitted after October 20, 2025.

7.3. Response to Claims: The Lottery Organizer will review claims and provide a response within 15 days of receipt. If the claim is deemed valid, the Lottery Organizer will specify the procedure and timeline for satisfying the claim in their response. If the claimant is not satisfied with the response, they have the right to appeal to the relevant institutions or courts of the Republic of Latvia.

8. Personal Data Processing

8.1. Information Disclosure: Participants are informed about the lottery publicly (including on the website www.tele2.lv). Any participant has the right to withdraw from the lottery by notifying the Lottery Service Provider in writing. Participation confirms that the participant has read, understood, and agrees to abide by the lottery rules, and has been informed about personal data processing for the lottery.

8.2. Data Processed: The following personal data will be processed: Winner's name, surname, phone number, correspondence address. For winner announcements on www.tele2.lv, the first three digits of the winner's phone number will be published along with their name and surname.

8.3. Data Processor: The data processor on behalf of Tele2 is the Lottery Organizer SIA “Visas Loterijas”.

8.4. Purpose of Processing: Personal data processing is based on Tele2's legitimate interests to enhance customer experience and attract new customers. The purpose of data processing is to ensure participant involvement in the lottery, organize the draw, identify winners, and award prizes. Participant data will be processed and stored for the duration of the lottery and for a period after its conclusion as required by applicable regulations.

8.5. Data Protection: Data processing complies with applicable laws on personal data processing and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data processing terms are detailed in the "Tele2 Privacy Policy" published on www.tele2.lv.

9. Other Provisions

9.1. Unreachable Winners: Tele2 is not responsible if it is unable to contact a winner due to reasons beyond Tele2's control.

9.2. Governing Terms: The rights and obligations of the Lottery Service Provider and the Participant are solely defined by these rules. Information in advertising materials is for informational purposes only.

9.3. Rule Publication: Lottery rules are published on the website www.tele2.lv.

9.4. Eligibility Exclusion: Employees of SIA “Visas Loterijas” and SIA “Tele2”, and their first-degree relatives (spouse, children, grandchildren, siblings, parents, or grandparents), are not eligible to participate in the lottery. If an employee or their family member is found to be a winner, the prize will not be awarded.
