Important Safety Information

Carbon Monoxide Hazard: Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a poison you cannot see or smell. NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF doors and windows are open. Only use OUTSIDE and far away from windows, doors, and vents. Avoid other generator hazards. READ MANUAL BEFORE USE.
Step 1: Add Lubricant and Fuel
Use a funnel to pour the provided engine oil into the engine. Fill to the upper mark of the oil dipstick [oil level indicator].
Use clean, fresh regular UNLEADED gasoline with a minimum 87 octane.
Ensure the fuel cap is properly secured [fuel cap].
Step 2: Start Generator
Move the generator outside to a flat, level surface, away from doors, windows, and vents.
- Turn the Multi-Switch to the "START" position.
- Pull the cord starter to start the engine.
- As soon as the engine starts and warms up, turn the Multi-Switch to the "RUN" position.
- Plug in items to be powered, using only grounded extension cords.
Step 3: Shutdown and Storage
- Remove any load from the generator.
- Turn the Multi-Switch to the "STOP" position.
If the generator is to be stored for longer than 30 days, refer to the operator's manual for further instructions.
