Wearing Instructions

To identify the left and right sides of the earphone units and cable: L=left side, R=right side. In the case of no character signs, the “blue” mark is the left side and the "red" mark is the right side.

Diagram shows earphone units with 'L' and 'R' markings. Cable also has 'L' and 'R' markings. If no markings, a blue mark indicates the left side and a red mark indicates the right side.

When replacing other cables, please choose cables with the same type of connector as this product, so as not to affect the sound quality and experience.

Diagram shows different MMCX connectors and 0.78mm 2-pin connectors, illustrating correct and incorrect polarity for connecting cables.

This product adopts an over-the-ear wearing design. When installing the earphone cable, please make the earphone unit and cable form a shape that can wrap around the ear, as shown in the figure below.

Diagram shows the correct way to shape the earphone cable around the ear for an over-ear fit, with a checkmark symbol (✔️). An incorrect way is shown with a cross symbol (❌).

When wearing, gently rotate and press the earphones according to the direction shown in the picture. After properly wearing, put the earphone cable over your ear and adjust the earphones until you feel comfortable.

Diagrams show how to gently rotate and press the earphones into the ear for a comfortable fit.

When removing the earphone cable, hold the cable connector and the earphone unit tight with your fingers. Keep them in the same line and then pull them apart. Or use the MMCX assist tool to detach it. Note that do not rotate the 0.78mm 2-pin cable.

Diagrams show how to hold the connector and earphone unit firmly and pull them apart in a straight line, or use a tool. It notes not to rotate the 0.78mm 2-pin cable.

Do not install or remove the cable at a tilted angle. Do not pull the earphone cable directly, to avoid it being broken.

Diagrams show correct (straight) and incorrect (tilted) angles for installing or removing the cable, with a checkmark (✔️) for correct and a cross (❌) for incorrect.

Note: If it is difficult to remove the earphone cable, do not remove it violently. If necessary, please contact the official after-sales staff for assistance.

How to use the MMCX assist tool:

  1. Align the semi-circular indentation of the MMCX assist tool to the gap between the connector's male and female components. Diagram shows aligning the semi-circular indentation of the MMCX assist tool with the gap between the connector's male and female components.
  2. Ensure the tool is parallel to the gap and position it towards the gap between the connector's male and female components until it is in place. Diagram shows positioning the tool parallel to the gap and pushing it in.
  3. Apply pressure by pressing down towards the other end of the tool. Diagram shows applying pressure downwards on the tool.
  4. The earphone unit will then be detached from the earphone cable. Diagram shows the earphone unit detached from the cable.

Notes:

  • Whether the accessory/function is included is subject to the actual product.
  • The MMCX assist tool should only be used for FiiO's earphones.
  • As the MMCX assist tool is a metal product, it may have the possibility of bruising the earphones. Please be careful when using it.
