Connectors Introduction

The FiiO KA3 is a portable DAC and Headphone Amplifier featuring Hi-Res Audio support.

Device Description:

The device is a compact, rectangular unit. It has an Indicator light on the top. The bottom features a USB Type-C connector for power and data. On one side, there is a 3.5mm single-ended headphone out port, and on the other side, a 4.4mm balanced headphone out port.

Note: Please do not plug in both the 3.5mm SE headphones and 4.4mm balanced headphones simultaneously.

Operation Instruction

1. Use a USB Type-C cable to connect the KA3 to an Android mobile phone. (Note: Compatibility may vary with certain Android devices due to system and hardware differences. Some mobile phones require the OTG function to be enabled to use the KA3 normally.)
2. When connecting the KA3 to a device with a Lightning connector, use a Lightning to Type-C OTG cable.
3. When playing music on a computer, select the KA3 as the audio output device.
4. For Windows computers, install the USB DAC driver from the FiiO website for an optimal listening experience. Download link: https://www.fiio.com/supports

5. When operating under the Exclusive USB Audio Access Mode, volume control might be unavailable on some devices. Use the FiiO Control App to adjust volume and access more functions.

6. The indicator light on the KA3 shows the sampling rate of the playing music:

Notes and Precautions

• Charging the KA3 via USB from mobile phones or computers will consume their power.
• The KA3 features a high-performance DAC/Amp chip; some heating during use is normal.
• Adjust the volume to a suitable level before wearing headphones to protect your hearing.
• Avoid wearing headphones when plugging in or unplugging the device to prevent sudden impulse noise that could damage your hearing.
• Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the product yourself. Keep it away from water.
• For safety, avoid using headphones in dangerous environments.

Checking result:

Warranty Terms and Conditions

1. The above guarantees start from the issue date of the invoice/receipt.
2. These warranty terms are for reference only. For specific details, please refer to the warranty terms of local sales agents.
3. FiiO reserves the right to final interpretation and amendment of these warranty terms and conditions.

The warranty is null and void under the following circumstances:

• Defects or damage caused by improper operations such as vibrating, bumping, falling to the ground, buckling, tearing, or excessive pulling.
• Defects or damage caused by disassembly of the product by the user or unauthorized repair personnel.
• Defects or damage from being used in humid environments, high-intensity magnetic fields, or being soaked into water.
• Defects or damage caused by natural disasters.
• Inability to provide valid proofs of purchase.

Note: Man-made damage is determined by FiiO's maintenance personnel.

Procedures of After-Sales Service

1. Please contact the local dealer first if you encounter problems with the device. If they refuse to provide after-sales service, please provide feedback to FiiOSupport by emailing support@fiio.com.
2. For repair service, send the defective product to FiiO with freight paid. FiiO will cover the return freight after repair.
3. It is highly recommended to purchase products from FiiO's authorized local sales agents for better and faster service.
4. Do not maintain or dismantle the product on your own and keep it away from water.
