Hager EHN010/EHN011 Daily Time Switch
Installation and Instruction Manual
Product Overview
The Hager EHN010 and EHN011 are daily time switches designed for controlling electrical circuits based on a daily program. They are suitable for lighting, ventilation, fountains, and advertising applications in closed, dry rooms.
Key Features:
- Analogue time switch
- 1 channel
- Daily program
- 16 A switching capacity
- Optional power reserve (EHN011 model)
- Mounts on standard 35mm DIN rail (TH 35-7.5)
Device Description (Refer to Figure 01)
The device features the following components:
- 1. Marking: A marker used for reading the current time.
- 2. Switching Disk: The main disk that displays and allows setting of the switching times.
- 3. Switching Segments: These are movable segments on the switching disk, each representing a 15-minute interval, used to define ON/OFF periods.
- 4. Mode Switch: A selector to choose the operating mode: 'Auto' for automatic timed operation, '1' for continuous ON, or '0' for continuous OFF.
Installation and Electrical Connection
Warning: Risk of electric shock if live parts are touched. Electric shock can be fatal. Always disconnect all power before working on the device and ensure surrounding live parts are covered.
- Mounting: Snap the device onto a standard 35mm DIN rail (as illustrated in Figure 02).
- Wiring: Connect the device according to the provided wiring diagram (refer to Figure 03).
- Power Restoration: After connections are made, switch the miniature circuit breaker back on.
Setting the Time and Program
- Set Current Time: To set the current time, turn the switching disk (2) upwards (as shown in Figure 05).
- Define Switching Times: Set the desired ON/OFF times by manipulating the switching segments (3). Push segments downwards to the right for ON, or upwards to the left for OFF (as illustrated in Figure 06).
- Select Operating Mode: Use the mode switch (4) to select the desired operation: 'Auto' for automatic timed control, '1' for permanent ON, or '0' for permanent OFF (as shown in Figure 08).
