1. General Characteristics
The XL³ HP 160 cabinets are designed for energy distribution up to 160A. Constructed from metal, they are available in three configurations:
- Pre-equipped: Includes a removable chassis fitted with mounted rails, a vertical wiring circulation strap (one per row), a brass bar for protective conductors, and metal faceplates with a 1/4 turn lock.
- To be equipped: Features functional uprights for rail mounting and a brass bar support.
- External cable sleeve: Comprises two cut-out side panels for coupling with an XL³ HP 160 cabinet (pre-equipped or to be equipped, 6/7/8 rows). It also includes three perforated metal supports for terminal blocks and earth bars, and three inclined 45° supports for mounting.
These cabinets can accommodate flat metal doors, flat glass doors, or curved metal doors and are suitable for both commercial and residential installations.

2.1 Faceplates Details
For pre-equipped cabinets:
- Top and bottom faceplates have a height of 200 mm.
- Intermediate faceplates have a height of 150 mm.

2.3 Doors
Doors are supplied with a 1/4 turn handle and shutter. Handles can be fitted with interchangeable barrels (ordered separately).

3. Technical Characteristics
3.1 Protection Index
- IP 30 with faceplate and without door, IP 40 with door, and IP 43 with door and gasket.
- IK 07 without door, IK 08 with door.
3.2 Material Characteristics
- Color: Grey RAL 7035, with Epoxy polyester powder coating (50/70 µm thickness).
- Galvanized steel rear panel: 10/10 mm thickness.
- Painted steel side/top/bottom panels: 10/10 mm thickness.
- Painted steel faceplate: 10/10 mm thickness.
- Metal door (flat/curved): 12/10 mm thickness.
- Glass door: 4 mm tempered glass with a 12/10 mm metal frame.
- Halogen-free.
- Self-extinguishing: 750°C.
3.3 Electrical Characteristics
- Rated operational voltage (Ue): 415 V AC - 50/60 Hz.
- Rated insulation voltage (Ui): 690 V AC - 50/60 Hz.
- Rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp): up to 8 kV.
- Short-circuit current (Icc): 25 kA.
- Short-time withstand current (Icw): 12.5 kA for 0.1 second.
- Rated current (In): 160 A.
Thermal Dissipation Table
Maximum admissible current of 160 A with Delta T 30 K. Configuration: Rear surface in contact with a wall, all other surfaces free. Determined by testing according to IEC 61439-1 and IEC 62208-1.

3.4 Mechanical Characteristics
Permissible load: 40 N per row.
3.5 Climatic Characteristics
- Storage and installation temperature: -10°C to +70°C.
- Operating temperature: -5°C to +40°C.
- Must be installed under shelter.
- Corrosion resistance per IEC 61439.
4. Maintenance
Caution: For specific cleaning products, prior testing is required.
Surface cleaning with cloth.
Resistant to: hexane, methylated spirits, soapy water, diluted ammonia, 10% diluted bleach, glass cleaner, pre-impregnated wipes.
5. Standards and Regulations
- Compliant with NF EN / IEC 61439-2 and -3.
- RoHS: Absence, beyond admitted thresholds, of substances prohibited by EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS), as modified by Delegated Directive 2015/863/EU, concerning the restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
- REACH: Substances identified as SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) according to REACH Regulation (1907/2006), if present at a concentration above 0.1% weight by weight, are declared in the European SCIP database. As of this publication, no Annex XIV substances are found in this product.
- Packaging: Design and manufacture of packaging compliant with European Directive 94/62/CE.
