Product Overview
The Taco LeakBreaker® is a resettable, testable leak protection device designed for any style of water heater. It automatically shuts off the incoming water supply when a leak is detected, preventing significant water damage. The system features a multi-color LED light and an audible alarm to provide constant status updates.

eLink® Connectivity
The LeakBreaker with eLink® technology utilizes Wi-Fi® to communicate with the cloud. This enables users to receive direct status alerts via email or text messages whenever a change occurs, such as alarm activation, power status, or sensor/valve connection status. eLink® is Taco Comfort Solutions' wireless connectivity platform, providing real-time product information accessible on mobile devices or desktops.

Application and Connectivity
The Taco LeakBreaker is installed on the incoming cold water supply to the water heater. Its plumb-and-plug design is engineered for new or retrofit installations, with pre-wired components for simplified setup. Simply connect the sensor, valve, power supply, and/or batteries. The LeakBreaker can be tested at any time and reset to protect against future leaks.
Notifications via eLink® technology are sent when the device detects status changes for: alarm activation, AC or battery power, sensor and valve connection, and module connectivity.
Available Models and Dimensions
The LeakBreaker system consists of a valve assembly, a control module, a water sensor, and a power cord. The module can operate with a power cord or 4 AA batteries (not included).
