Key Features

Autostart

Automatically starts heating after inserting a SMARTCORE STICK™.

FlexPuff

Automatically analyzes your experience and may provide up to 4 extra puffs within a 6-minute experience. This feature is designed to work with tobacco sticks, and the activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns.

Quick Tips

Autostop

The experience will stop if the SMARTCORE STICK™ is moved or removed from the device during use.

Battery Status

A short press of the button will display the battery level via status lights.

Light Blinks Yellow: Battery depleted, needs charging.
Lights Blink White Twice: Device is outside the operating temperature range (0°C-40°C).
Light Blinks Red: Reset the device. If the red light persists, contact Customer Care.

To Reset

Place the Holder in the Pocket Charger and press the Pocket Charger Button for 10 seconds. Status Lights will turn OFF and then ON to confirm a reset. If the problem persists, contact IQOS Support.

How to Use

Turn On: Press and hold the Button for 4 seconds. Status Lights will turn ON slowly.
Charge: Before first use, fully charge the IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ in accordance with the enclosed Safety Warnings and Instructions (approx. 90 min).
Open: Slide to open the device.
Insert SMARTCORE STICK™: Insert the SMARTCORE STICK™ to the line on the filter until the device vibrates and the light pulses. Heating starts automatically or by pressing the Button for 1 second.
Begin Use: Start using once the IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ vibrates and the Status Light(s) stay fixed.
Experience Countdown: During use, Status Light(s) indicate the remaining time.
Nearly Complete: To signal the last 30 seconds or last 2 puffs, the IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ will vibrate once with one Light pulsing white.
Remove SMARTCORE STICK™: Remove the used SMARTCORE STICK™ and dispose of it as per Safety Warnings and Instructions.

Intended Users

IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ and SMARTCORE STICKS™ are for adult use only.
They are intended for adults who would otherwise continue to use tobacco or nicotine-containing products.
Children and adolescents should never use IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ or SMARTCORE STICKS™.
This product should not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of knowledge, unless supervised or instructed on safe use.

Tobacco and Nicotine

SMARTCORE STICKS™ contain nicotine, which is addictive.
IQOS ILUMA i ONE™ and SMARTCORE STICKS™ are not risk-free. The best way to reduce health risks is to quit tobacco and nicotine use altogether.
Potential side effects may include abdominal pain, chest pain, choking sensation, cough, difficulty breathing, dizziness, dry mouth, dry throat, gingivitis, headache, malaise, nasal stuffiness, nausea, mouth irritation, palpitations, throat irritation, and vomiting.
Nicotine-containing products should not be used by people with heart diseases, diabetes, epilepsy, or those at risk of seizures.
Do not use during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
Stopping or switching may require adjustment of certain medications. Consult a healthcare professional if you have questions about using this product with existing health conditions.

Important Safety Information

CHOKING, INGESTION AND HANDLING HAZARD: Keep out of reach of children and pets. SMARTCORE STICKS™ contain small parts and metal parts with sharp edges. Swallowed parts can cause serious injury or nicotine intoxication. Seek medical attention immediately if swallowed. Do not take apart SMARTCORE STICKS™. Dispose of them according to local regulations after they have fully cooled.
ELECTRONIC AND BATTERY HAZARDS: Failure to follow warnings can result in fire, explosion, electric shock, injury, or damage. Use only as intended. Do not use where prohibited. Do not charge or use if damaged. Do not use if the battery appears to be leaking. Charge indoors using the supplied cable and a certified power adaptor. Do not use unapproved accessories. Use only the specified voltage (5V; 2A). Do not use, charge, or store in high temperatures or near heat sources. Do not use where flammable materials are present. Keep the device, adapter, and cable away from liquids. Do not clean with cleaning agents. Clean the USB port periodically. Handle with care; do not drop or subject to strong shock. The product contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, modify, or repair. Do not expose to excessive cold, heat, or moisture. If the device overheats, sparks, fumes, ignites, or burns, take caution to shut off power. Do not insert objects other than SMARTCORE STICKS™ or the ILUMA™ Stick Remover into the heating chamber. Do not insert metal pieces while in use. Operate between 0°C and 40°C. SMARTCORE STICKS™ are single-use only. Never dispose of with household waste.

Battery Risks

IQOS ILUMA i ONE™™ uses sealed Lithium-ion batteries. If fluid leaks:

If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting or ingest food/drink.
If inhaled, get fresh air and seek medical attention.
If in contact with skin, wash the affected area and hands. Do not touch eyes.
If in contact with eyes, flush with running water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention.

Thermal Burn Risks

Store in a clean, dry, cool place.
Do not expose to high humidity or direct sunlight.
Do not use SMARTCORE STICKS™ exposed to excessive heat or moisture.
Do not remove a SMARTCORE STICK™ while in use.

Allergic Reaction Risks

Using the device and SMARTCORE STICKS™ may cause allergic reactions (swelling, difficulty breathing). Stop use and seek medical attention if symptoms occur.
Some SMARTCORE STICKS™ contain botanical ingredients that may cause allergic reactions. Do not share devices to minimize cross-contamination.

Use of SMARTCORE STICKS™

Only use with IQOS ILUMA i ONE™™ specific SMARTCORE STICKS™.
Never use with cigarettes or similar products.
Do not use with previous IQOS™™ devices.
Do not modify SMARTCORE STICKS™ or add substances.

Information for Disposing of IQOS ILUMA i ONE™

This symbol indicates that the product and its parts (including batteries) must not be disposed of with household waste. It is your responsibility to take waste equipment to a designated collection point for recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. Waste batteries can be returned free of charge at the point of sale. Separate collection and recycling helps conserve natural resources and ensures environmentally sound recycling. Contact your local city office, waste disposal service, or retailer for recycling drop-off locations.

Battery Removal Instructions (For Disposal and Recycling)

Batteries must not be removed by the consumer. Only an authorized recycler may safely remove batteries. Follow these steps:

Ensure the device is fully discharged before disassembly.
Remove the cosmetic cover and two screws at the bottom of the housing.
Slide the assembly out from the housing via the Type C connector.
Clean adhesive at the bottom of the housing.
Remove the top cover latch sub-assembly and tube sleeve.
Remove two screws from the shield-can and remove it.
Disconnect the Battery BTB connector.
Hold the adhesive pull tab on the underside of the device, slowly drag and remove the adhesive from the battery, then remove the battery from the frame. Use plastic tools if necessary.
Dispose of the battery according to local waste regulations.
