Area of Use / Purpose
- Radio remote control with 200 radio commands for industrial applications.
- Control up to 100 gates (with defined open/close = 2 commands/gate).
- Suitable for Somloq Rollingcode and SOMloq2 radio systems.

Display and Button Explanation
Optical Display
- LED 1 (1): Briefly lights orange when a radio command is sent. Lights green for 1 second if a response from a SOMloq2 radio receiver has been received.
- LED 2 (2): Lights green if a gate allocated to memory slots 0-9 is selected. Lights orange if a gate allocated to memory slots 10-99 is selected. Flashes red if an attempt is made to select an invalid three-digit memory slot.
Buttons
- Numbers 0-9: For inputting the number of the required gate.
- ESC: For correction of an incorrect input.
- M: Memory button.
- [Light Button]: Switch on lighting.
- [UP]: "OPEN" button.
- [DOWN]: "CLOSE" button.
Switch On
- Press and hold button (M).
- LED 2 flashes orange.
- After 5 seconds, LED 1 lights red and LED 2 lights orange. Backlighting is switched on.
Programming to Transmitter
NOTE: For simple and convenient use, consistently use the [UP] button for UP and the [DOWN] button for DOWN.
Refer to the receiver or operator instructions for the correct procedure for setting the radio receiver in programming mode and the correct LED response.
- Set receiver to programming mode for UP and DOWN.
- Select the required memory slot using the GIGAcom keypad.
- LED 2 lights green during input of a number from 0-9.
- LED 2 lights orange during input of a number from 10-99.
- Press the desired direction button: [UP] for gate OPEN, [DOWN] for gate CLOSE.
- LED 1 lights orange.
Deleting from the Receiver
Refer to the receiver or operator instructions for the correct procedure for setting the radio receiver in delete mode and the correct LED response.
- Set receiver in delete mode.
- Select the memory slot to be deleted using the GIGAcom keypad.
- LED 2 lights green during input of a number from 0-9.
- LED 2 lights orange during input of a number from 10-99.
- Press the direction button to be deleted: [UP] for gate OPEN, [DOWN] for gate CLOSE.
- LED 1 lights orange.
Switch on Backlighting
- Press the [Light Button] button briefly.
- The backlighting lights for approximately 10 seconds.
- The backlighting switches off immediately when the transmit button is pressed.
NOTE: If no favorites have been saved and no number button was pressed, the lighting is also activated by pressing the [UP] or [DOWN] button for approximately 10 seconds.
Operation
Requirements
- GIGAcom is switched on.
- The desired radio command is programmed on the correct receiver.
- GIGAcom battery is not depleted.
Select Gate/Command
- Enter the number of the desired gate with the keypad.
- If more than 2 numbers are entered in succession, LED 2 flashes red and the input is cancelled.
- Select the desired direction of movement by pressing the [UP] or [DOWN] button.
- LED 1 lights orange during transmission.
- LED 1 lights green (On SOMloq2).
- Gate starts moving.
Saving Favourite
If a gate is actuated frequently, it can be saved as a favourite. Favorites do not need to be selected on the keypad before actuation.
- Press and hold (M) longer than 5 seconds to initiate the save process.
- LED 1 lights green for 10 seconds.
- Perform the following steps within the 10-second window:
- Enter the number of the gate to be saved as a favourite using the keypad.
- LED 2 lights green.
- Press the (M) button briefly.
- LED 1 lights red for 2 seconds and LED 2 lights orange simultaneously for 2 seconds. Favourite is saved.
Deleting Favourite
- Press and hold (M) longer than 10 seconds.
- LED 1 flashes green.
- Release button (M).
- Press the (M) button briefly.
- LED 1 lights red for 2 seconds and LED 2 lights orange simultaneously for 2 seconds. Favourite is deleted.
Replacing Battery
WARNING: If the battery level is low, LED 1 flashes red during command transmission.
- Never leave batteries within reach of children. Call a doctor immediately if a battery is swallowed.
- Do not open or recharge the battery or allow it to come into contact with water, fire, or high temperatures.
- Replace battery only with CR 123A (3V).
- Dispose of the battery according to locally applicable regulations.
Steps:
- Pull off screw cover (3).
- Unscrew screw (4).
- Rotate GIGAcom and unscrew the bottom screws (5).
- Lift bottom section of housing.
- Replace the battery (6).
- Reassemble in reverse order.
