IKEA Summer Game: Summer Smiles
This document outlines the rules and regulations for the IKEA 'Summer Smiles' game organized by Meubles IKEA France.
Article 1: Organizing Company, Location & Duration
Meubles IKEA France, a simplified joint-stock company with a capital of 8,840,000 euros, located at 425 rue Henri Barbusse 78370 Plaisir, registered with the RCS of Versailles under number B 351 745 724, is organizing a game-contest. The game will take place from June 16, 2025, 10:00 AM to July 1, 2025, 8:00 PM in participating IKEA stores. IKEA reserves the right to postpone or cancel the game and will inform participants if necessary. This version of the rules is effective from June 16, 2025.
Article 2: Participation Conditions & Restrictions
Eligibility is limited to individuals who are:
- Physically present
- At least 18 years old on the day of participation
- Residing in metropolitan France
- Holders of an IKEA Family card
Participation requires a minimum purchase of 1 euro in a participating IKEA store on the day of participation, and the IKEA Family card must have been presented at the time of purchase.
Exclusions:
- Company executives of IKEA or affiliated companies.
- IKEA employees and their subcontractors who directly participated in the game's development and organization, as well as their family members (spouses, siblings, ascendants, and descendants).
- IKEA employees and service providers working in the store are prohibited from participating during their work hours. They may only participate during their days off, holidays, or break times.
Participation Limits:
- Only one participation per household (defined by name, postal address, email address, phone number, or IKEA Family number) is allowed per day.
- Additional participations from the same household will be considered void.
- Participation is personal.
- Entries with illegible, inaccurate, incomplete, fraudulent, or missing information on the participation form will be declared null and void.
IKEA reserves the right to verify compliance with these participation conditions.
Article 3: How to Participate
To enter the game, participants must:
- Access the online participation form by scanning the QR code displayed on game-related materials.
- Complete the participation form with their receipt number and IKEA Family number.
- Confirm their IKEA Family account information (name, surname, email address, phone number).
- Accept the present rules and the personal data processing by checking the corresponding boxes on the participation form.
- Click on "Validate".
Article 4: Prizes
The following prizes are available:
- 36 prizes: BELAMBRA stay vouchers worth €2,000 each. Valid for one year from the issue date, subject to availability. Valid year-round on 3B and 5B clubs, and hotels, excluding the last two weeks of July and the first three weeks of August. Not valid for package deals with ski lifts or Paris "Magendie", Lyon "Villemanzy", and Dourdan "Le Domaine du Normont" hotels. Excludes additional options, transport, and personal expenses. Offer is non-retroactive, non-cumulative with partner discounts or promotional codes. Vouchers are nominative, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other vouchers. Each voucher is for a single stay and cannot be extended. The value is a maximum; no refund will be issued if the chosen stay is less than the voucher value. Reservations are final and non-modifiable.
- 36 prizes: IKEA discount coupons worth €500 each. Valid until August 31, 2025, in all IKEA stores in metropolitan France and on Ikea.fr. Usable once, with no minimum purchase, on IKEA products (excluding bistro, grocery, restaurant, services, gift cards). Minimum remaining payment after discount is €1. Personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, non-cumulative with other coupons, but can be combined with other current offers.
- 10 prizes: HUTTOPIA stay vouchers worth €300 each. Valid throughout the Huttopia network, for all accommodations, excluding public holidays and school holidays, for stays booked and completed before July 3, 2026. Optional extras (end-of-stay cleaning, meals, linens, pet supplement, preference fees, cancellation insurance, etc.) and tourist tax are the responsibility of the winner.
- 20 prizes: HUTTOPIA stay vouchers worth €150 each. Valid throughout the Huttopia network, for all accommodations, excluding public holidays and school holidays, for stays booked and completed before July 3, 2026. Optional extras and tourist tax are the responsibility of the winner.
- 220 prizes: IKEA discount coupons worth €100 each. Valid until August 31, 2025, in all IKEA stores in metropolitan France and on Ikea.fr. Usable once, with no minimum purchase, on IKEA products (excluding bistro, grocery, restaurant, services, gift cards). Minimum remaining payment after discount is €1. Personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, non-cumulative with other coupons, but can be combined with other current offers.
- 16,000 prizes: IKEA discount coupons worth €10 each. Valid until August 31, 2025, in all IKEA stores in metropolitan France and on Ikea.fr. Usable once, with no minimum purchase, on IKEA products (excluding bistro, grocery, restaurant, services, gift cards). Minimum remaining payment after discount is €1. Personal, non-transferable, non-refundable, non-cumulative with other coupons, but can be combined with other current offers.
- 36,000 prizes: Coupons for one (1) ice cream worth €1. Valid until July 1, 2025, in all Stores with a bistro.
Unclaimed or lost prizes remain IKEA's property. IKEA reserves the right to substitute prizes of equivalent value if necessary.
Article 5: Winner Designation
The game is an "instant win" game. Participants will be notified immediately after completing their participation if they have won a prize and which prize they have won.
- Winners of IKEA discount coupons will receive their prize directly via the email address registered to their IKEA Family account.
- Winners of BELAMBRA or HUTTOPIA stay vouchers will receive their prize within 15 days after winning, via the email address registered to their IKEA Family account.
Article 6: Personal Data
By agreeing to these rules, participants consent to Meubles IKEA France SAS collecting their email address, name, surname, phone number, and IKEA Family number for the purpose of managing their participation in the game. Personal data will be retained for a maximum of two months and then deleted. Data may be shared with internal IKEA services and service providers for the stated purpose. Participants have the right to access, rectify, object to, or erase their data. Requests should be sent to Meubles IKEA France SAS - Data Protection Officer - 425 rue Henri Barbusse, 78370 Plaisir, or by email to cil.ikeafrance@ikea.com. Further information is available in IKEA's Data Protection Charter on the IKEA.fr website. Exercising the right to delete data or withdraw consent before the game ends will result in disqualification. Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as the CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes).
Article 7: Liability
IKEA reserves the right to postpone, extend, modify, interrupt, defer, or cancel the game if circumstances require, without incurring liability. IKEA is not liable for malfunctions preventing access to or proper conduct of the game, particularly due to external malicious acts. The use of robots or similar automated participation methods is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Participants must act in good faith. IKEA may cancel the game or withhold prizes from fraudulent participants and may pursue legal action against them. IKEA is not liable if it cannot contact winners or deliver prizes due to incorrect or changed contact information provided by the participant, or if notification emails/SMS are classified as spam or deleted. IKEA is also not liable for any defects or indirect damages related to the prizes awarded.
Article 8: Intellectual Property
Reproduction, representation, or exploitation of any part of the game's elements (trademarks, logos, texts, images, videos, etc.) is strictly prohibited and subject to civil and criminal penalties.
Article 9: Rules
Article 9.1. Modification of Rules – Effective Version
IKEA reserves the right to modify the terms of these rules during the game. The version of the rules applicable to a participant is the one in effect at the time of their participation.
Article 9.2. Integrity of Rules and Nullity
If any article of these rules is declared null or void, the validity of the remaining articles will not be affected.
Article 9.3. Consultation of Rules
These rules can be consulted at the store's reception desk and on the store's internet page at www.ikea.fr. They can also be sent free of charge upon request to IKEA at: Meubles IKEA France S.A.S. – Centre Support Clients – 91008 Evry Cedex.
Article 10: Proof of Convention
The computer systems and files of IKEA shall be the sole proof. Computerized records stored in IKEA's systems, under reasonable security and reliability conditions, are considered proof of relations and communications between IKEA and the participant. IKEA may rely on programs, data, files, records, operations, and other elements stored in its IT systems as proof in legal proceedings. Operations performed using a participant's identifier and code are presumed to have been carried out under the participant's responsibility.
Article 11: Applicable Law
The game and the interpretation of these rules are subject to French law.
