Installing into the Firebox
Steps
- If the burner is currently installed, start by removing the burner from the firebox along with any media and glass that may be installed.
- Remove the bracket that the junction box is secured to by removing the two screws holding it to the firebox.
- Remove the junction box from the bracket by removing the cover plate and removing the two screws securing it to the bracket.
- Reattach the junction box to the LED Component Kit bracket in the same location and orientation.
- Install the LED Component Kit in the same location and orientation as the original bracket that was removed.
Visual Description
A diagram illustrates the process of installing the LED Component Kit into the firebox. It shows the placement of the kit components, including the LED strips and controller, within the firebox structure, indicating their orientation and connection points.
Wiring the LED Controller
Note: There are two LED Controllers available, allowing the optional LED Floor Kit and LED Glass Barrier to be controlled independently.
The power supply leads can be wired into the junction box along with the house power and unit power wires.
Connection Points
- To house power
- To LED Floor
- To LED Glass Barrier
Visual Description
An image displays the LED controller unit, which includes a power supply (labeled MW MODEL UHP-200-24). Wires are shown connected, with labels indicating their destinations: "To house power", "To LED Floor", and "To LED Glass Barrier". The controller has multiple terminals for connections.
Reconnecting Components
Follow the individual component installation instructions for connecting the LED component kits, such as the LED Floor Kit and the LED Glass Barrier. The remote is pre-paired to the controllers; the main task is to connect the LED kits to the LED controller leads.
Resyncing Controllers to Remote
Note: The following instructions are for resyncing controllers to the remote.
If installing both the LED Floor Kit and the LED Glass Barrier, you have two options for connecting them to the LED controllers: A) Connect both kits to one controller, resulting in both the LED floor and LED Glass barrier always displaying the same color. B) Connect each kit to its own controller, allowing them to be color-controlled independently.
Resyncing Steps
- Turn off the rocker switches for both LED controllers. Status indicator lights, visible through the floor access, confirm power status; no light indicates the controller is off.
- Restore power to the LED controller you wish to connect to a component by rolling its corresponding rocker switch ON. Within 3 seconds of restoring power, press the "I" of the zone 1 control. If pairing is successful, the status indicator lights will blink green 3 times slowly on the firebox floor access for the selected controller.
- If the second controller is not being used, leave its rocker switch in the OFF position.
- If you are using the second LED controller, restore power to it by rolling its corresponding rocker switch ON. Within 3 seconds of restoring power, press the "I" of the zone 2 control. If pairing is successful, the status indicator lights will blink green 3 times slowly on the firebox floor for the selected controller.
Visual Description
Diagrams show the status indicator and SYNC button access holes, as well as the rocker switches on the LED controllers. A separate diagram illustrates the Mi-Light remote control, detailing its features: a Link/Unlink button, Zone Selections (1-4), Master ON/OFF buttons, Brightness (+/-) controls, Speed (+/-) controls, and an Indicator light. The remote model FUT096 is visible.
Installation Complete
The LED Component Kit installation is now complete. Replace all components that were removed to gain access, in the reverse order of their removal. Refer to the next page for quick setup instructions for the LED remote and smartphone connection. To control the LED lights with your smartphone, Google Home, or Amazon Alexa, proceed to the LED controller instructions. Complete instructions for the remote and controller are also provided in the kit if more information is necessary.

Remark: Hold the "I" button to activate white mode. In white mode, press 'S-' for warm white and 'S+' for cool white. In color mode, press 'S+/S-' for saturation control. When 'M' is pressed, 'S+/S-' adjusts the speed of dynamic modes. To dim all RGBW lights simultaneously or change their color, first press "Master ON". To control individual lights, first press "Zone ON", then select the color or brightness using the color ring or brightness ring.
Visual Description
A diagram details the functions of the Mi-Light remote controls. It shows the "Master ON" and "Master OFF" buttons, a "Color ring" for selecting colors, "Brightness -" and "Brightness +" controls, "Speed -" and "Speed +" controls for dynamic modes, and "Zone ON" / "Zone OFF" buttons for individual zone control. An "Indicator light" is also shown. The diagram also includes "Zone Selections" (1-4) and a "Link/Unlink button".
Linking & Unlinking Lights
Remark
The light can function after being linked with the remote controller.
Linking Instructions
- Switch off the light, wait 10 seconds, then switch it on again.
- When the light is ON, short press any zone of the "1" button 1 time within 3 seconds.
- The light will blink 3 times slowly, indicating successful linking.
If the light does not blink slowly, the linking has failed. Please switch off the light again and follow the above steps.
Unlinking Instructions
- Switch off the light, wait 10 seconds, then switch it on again.
- When the light is ON, long press the "1" button within 3 seconds.
- The light will blink 10 times quickly, indicating successful unlinking.
Unlinking must use the same zone as the linking process. If the light does not blink quickly, unlinking has failed. Please switch off the light again and follow the above steps to unlink.
Grouping of Several Lights
You can add an unlimited number of lights to a zone on the 4-channel remote by linking them to different zones. This provides flexibility in creating various group combinations. Diagrams show examples of these grouping configurations.
Remark
- The user can reprogram freely as needed. One remote can control countless lamps or controllers, but one lamp or controller can only be controlled by a maximum of four remotes.
- Please check the battery installation and controller (fully discharge the power) when programming after switching off and switching on.
Attention
- This remote controller only operates specified Mi-Light products; not all Mi-Light series are compatible.
- If the indicator lamp blinks quickly during use, change the battery promptly. Avoid using poor quality batteries to prevent leakage that could damage the remote controller.
- When installing batteries, keep your finger off the touch ring to improve its sensitivity. Use the remote 3 seconds after batteries are installed. Reinstall batteries if the touch ring is found to be low-sensitivity.
- This 2.4GHz remote control system is a precise electronic product. Do not use it in humid, high-temperature, dusty, or high-voltage environments. Store it in a dry, static-free indoor environment.
- Do not use the remote controller near wide-range metal or strong electromagnetic wave areas, as this will badly affect the controlling distance.
Visual Description
Diagrams illustrate the linking and unlinking procedures for Mi-Light devices. These include steps involving switching power on/off, pressing specific buttons on the remote, and observing indicator light responses (slow green blink for linking, quick red blink for unlinking). Examples of grouping multiple lights into zones are also depicted. Icons for power, the Link/Unlink button, and remote controls are present. Safety certifications like CE and RoHS, and manufacturing origin "Made in China", are shown.
