Assembly Instructions

This document provides instructions for assembling the IKEA JULES children's desk chair. Please follow these steps carefully to ensure safe and correct assembly.

Important Safety Information: Do not attempt to replace or repair parts yourself. Contact IKEA for assistance.

Parts List:

• 5x Screw (100504)
• 4x Nut (104875)
• 1x Allen Key (108490)

Assembly Steps:

Step 1: Assemble the Base

Lay the five base legs on a soft surface, like a rug, to prevent scratching. Connect the legs together as shown in the diagram. [Diagram showing base legs being connected]

Step 2: Attach the Central Hub

Attach the central hub to the assembled base legs using five screws (100504) and the provided Allen key (108490). Ensure all screws are tightened securely. [Diagram showing central hub attachment with screws and Allen key]

Step 3: Install the Casters

Insert the five casters into the designated sockets on the base legs. Push firmly until they click into place. [Diagram showing casters being inserted into the base]

Step 4: Attach the Seat Mechanism

Attach the seat mechanism to the underside of the chair seat using four screws (100504) and four nuts (104875). Use a wrench to tighten the nuts. [Diagram showing seat mechanism attachment with screws and nuts]

Step 5: Connect Seat to Base and Adjust Height

Place the assembled seat onto the central column of the base. To adjust the chair height, pull up or push down the lever located under the seat while applying your weight or lifting the seat. [Diagram showing seat placement and height adjustment lever]

Note: The chair is designed for assembly by an adult. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
