Product Illustration
Top View: The speaker features a compact, square design. The top surface has controls for 'Volume -', the 'Tribit' logo, and 'Volume +'. The Multifunction Button (MFB) is also located here.
Bottom View: The bottom of the speaker includes a USB-C charging port, a status indicator light, a microphone, a power button, and a Bluetooth pairing indicator.
Charging
Connect the speaker to a 5V power outlet using the provided USB-C charging cable.
To charge other devices, connect your USB-enabled device to the speaker using a USB-C charging cable.
Battery Indicator
The speaker has a battery indicator light:
- Red indicator flashing: Low battery
- White indicator flashing: Charging
- All indicators turn off: Full charged

Button Operations
Power On/Off
Power Button:
- Short press: Turn the speaker on. The blue indicator will flash.
- Short press: Turn the speaker off. All indicators will turn off.
- Press and hold for 10 seconds: Factory reset.
- Press and hold for 8 seconds: Reset. The blue indicator will flash.
Bluetooth Connection
Bluetooth Pairing: Press and hold the power button for 1 second to enter pairing mode. The blue indicator will flash.
The speaker automatically connects to the last paired device. If unsuccessful, it enters pairing mode.
The speaker can remember up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices and connect to 2 devices simultaneously.
Conversion between 2 Connected Devices
- Pause playback on the current device.
- Play audio from the other device.
Volume Adjustment
Volume - Button:
- Short press: Decrease volume by one step.
- Press and hold: Continuously decrease volume.
Volume + Button:
- Short press: Increase volume by one step.
- Press and hold: Continuously increase volume.
Multifunction Button (MFB)
Music Mode
- Short press: Play/Pause music.
- Double press: Next track.
- Press 3 times: Previous track.
- Press and hold for 1 second: Activate Siri.
Conversation Mode
- Short press: Answer or end a phone call.
- Press and hold for 1 second: Reject an incoming call.
- Short press (during a call): Pause the current call and answer an incoming call.
- Short press (with two calls): Switch between calls.
Advanced Modes
Party Mode
To use Party Mode, you need two Tribit StormBox Micro 2 speakers.
Setup:
- Ensure both speakers are turned on.
- Long press the Bluetooth button on Speaker A for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode (Speaker A becomes the main speaker).
- Long press the Bluetooth button on Speaker B for 1 second to enter pairing mode (Speaker B becomes the secondary speaker).
- A "party mode" prompt will confirm successful pairing.
Stereo Mode
To use Stereo Mode, you need two Tribit StormBox Micro 2 speakers.
Setup:
- Ensure both speakers are in Party Mode.
- Briefly press the Bluetooth button on either speaker.
- Release the button when you hear the stereo mode prompt. One speaker will output "Left" and the other "Right" to indicate stereo mode activation.
Switching Modes
To switch between Party Mode and Stereo Mode, briefly press the Bluetooth button on either speaker.
Disabling Party/Stereo Mode
Press and hold the Bluetooth button on either speaker for 5 seconds to re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
