Product Illustration
The speaker features the following components:
- Top View: Volume - button, Power button, Status indicator, Microphone, MFB (Multifunction Button), Volume + button.
- Bottom/Side View: Status indicator, Microphone, Power button, Charging Port, Bluetooth Pairing indicator.
Charging
To charge the speaker:
- Connect the speaker to a 5V power outlet using the provided USB-C charging cable.
- To charge other devices, connect your USB-enabled device to the speaker's USB-C port using a USB-C cable.
Battery Indicator
The battery status is indicated by LEDs:
- Red Indicator Flashing: Low battery
- White Indicator Flashing: Charging
- All Indicators Off: Fully charged
Indicator Instruction
- 0-30%: One indicator light on
- 30-50%: Two indicator lights on
- 50-70%: Three indicator lights on
- 70-80%: Four indicator lights on
- 80-100%: Five indicator lights on
- Full Charged: All indicators off (or a specific state indicating full charge, depending on design)
Button Operations
Power On/Off
- Short Press: Turns the speaker on or off. The blue indicator flashes when powered on, and all indicators turn off when powered off.
- Press and Hold for 8s: Resets the speaker to factory settings. The blue indicator flashes during reset.
Bluetooth Connection
The speaker automatically connects to the last paired device. If unsuccessful, it enters pairing mode.
- Enter Pairing Mode: Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 1 second. The blue indicator flashes.
- Pairing Status: Blue indicator flashes.
- Successful Connection: Blue indicator is solid.
The speaker can remember up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices and connect to 2 devices simultaneously.
Conversion between 2 Connected Devices
- Pause playback on the current device.
- Play audio from the other device.
Volume Adjustment
- Volume - Button:
- Short Press: Decreases volume.
- Press and Hold: Continuously decreases volume.
- Volume + Button:
- Short Press: Increases volume.
- Press and Hold: Continuously increases volume.
Multifunctional Button (MFB)
Music Mode
- Short Press: Play/Pause music.
- Double Press: Next track.
- Triple Press: Previous track.
- Press and Hold for 1s: Activate Siri.
Conversation Mode
- Short Press: Answer or end a phone call.
- Press and Hold for 1s: Reject an incoming call.
- Short Press (during call): Pause current call and answer incoming call.
- Press and Hold (during call): Switch between two calls.
Party Mode
To enable Party Mode, you need two Tribit StormBox Micro 2 speakers.
- Ensure both speakers are turned on.
- On Speaker A (main speaker), long press the Bluetooth button for 5 seconds to enter party mode pairing.
- On Speaker B (secondary speaker), press the Bluetooth button for 1 second to enter pairing mode.
- When you hear the prompt tone "party mode", both speakers have successfully entered party mode.
Stereo Mode
To enable Stereo Mode, you need two Tribit StormBox Micro 2 speakers.
- Ensure both speakers are in Party Mode.
- Briefly press the Bluetooth button on either speaker.
- Release the button when you hear the "Stereo Mode" voice prompt. One speaker will announce "Left" and the other "Right", activating stereo mode.
Switching Between Party and Stereo Modes
Briefly press the Bluetooth button on either speaker.
Disabling Party or Stereo Mode
Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 5 seconds on either speaker to re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
